Century Club News Our Century Club now runs from September-June. The Century Club Banquet will be held at the Valley Country Club on July 15, 2018. During two weekends, Sept. 23 rd & 24 th and Sept. 30t h & Oct. 1 st. David Verducci will be at the Church after all Masses handing out member tickets. The St. Vincent de Paul Society will hold a Pasta Dinner on Sat. Aug. 26th, in the SVP school after the 5:30pm Mass. This is to raise funds to help those in need in our area. Prices are: Adults $10, children (6-12) $5, young children 5 and under) are free. Whole family price is limited to $25. Tickets will be sold after all masses. If you have a large group, let us know and we will make sure you are seated together. Make reservations and pay at the door by using our sign up sheets which are located in the back of the churches. (Bill) Czyzewski The Office of Marriage Preparation & Enrichment is sponsoring the annual Wedding Anniversary Celebration honoring couples of the Diocese of Providence who will be observing their 25th, 40th, 50th and OVER 50 years wedding anniversaries in 2017. This year s celebration will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2017, 1:00 pm at the Cathedral of SS. Peter & Paul, Providence and will include Mass, renewal of marriage vows, a personalized certificate for each couple and a reception for the couples and their families. Bishop Thomas J. Tobin will be the main celebrant. Couples must be in a marriage that is recognized by the church. Couples who would like to participate must fill out a form (at the entrance of the churches) and hand it in to Father Jacek no later than September 8th. Diocese to Host Blue Mass to Honor and Pray for Police, Fire and First Responders The Diocese of Providence will host a Blue Mass for Police, Fire and First Responders on Sunday, September 24, at 10:00 a.m. in the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul. Auxiliary Bishop Robert C. Evans will be the main celebrant of the Mass with other priests of the diocese concelebrating. Everyone is invited to come together to honor these men and women for their courageous service and pray for their safety.
