St. Anthony of Padua 2017 School News Peeking Into Kindergarten Where can you find a great kapok tree, red-eyed tree frog, howler monkey, boa constrictor, chameleon and blue morpho butterfly? In the Kindergarten rain forest of course! We have had an amazing time learning about all of the wonders of the rain forest in preparation for the science fair over the last month. Our room has slowly transformed into a tropical wonderland and we can hardly wait to share it with you! We have also been busy at work preparing our hearts for Easter through prayer, songs, bible stories and a special Easter presentation. We are so excited for the best part of Easter, Jesus! In math we have been working on addition through the use of many hands on games, activities and math talks. Our favorite part of the week remains our guided reading groups. It is amazing to watch the children blossom as readers and hear them say, I love books! Kindergarten is an exciting place to be!
