COMMUNION PRAYER (unison) Allen Hilton Gracious God, with Your followers of every age, we praise You for your mighty acts. You brought the beautiful world into being, created life in abundant variety to fill the lands and seas, and made humanity in Your image to enjoy the gifts of creation and to follow You. Though each of us has strayed from the path You set for us, You have not abandoned us. You have sent us Your word of loving forgiveness through Your Son, Jesus Christ. For our sake He died on the cross, was raised on the third day, and leads the way to eternal life. We gather at this table to remember Him in the bread and the cup. May Your Spirit, which creates us, redeems us, and sustains us, be present as we share in the blessings of this Holy Communion. Amen.
