Lesson 77 The horsemen are preparing for battle! February 22, 2012 1 02/19/12 MEETING: PRESENT I AM, Bob and Cindy BT Silence is a must. You must come to me in silence. Reverence, you must show reverence and respect for your King, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Supreme. All will submit to my authority. Make no mistake no one will come to the Father except through me. I am the light and the way. The truth is in me. Find me, and you will find your way. You must seek me in all things great and small. I have the plan for victory, my plan is sure. My plan has provisions for you. You must stay close to me. Follow my every instruction. There is no room for error. The time is at hand draw near to me my children. Listen, listen carefully, have conviction. Act, act out my ways, become like me. Rid yourself of sin. Call on me. Focus on me. Study my word. Enough said. CT Bowing our heads in reverence to the Lord. Acknowledging His Kingship, His Kingdom, His reign, His sovereignty! Corporals, commanders, captains assume your positions, prepare for battle, ministries ahead, proceeding ahead in battle. Victory shall come. The horsemen are preparing for battle. A war is being waged, good against evil, light versus darkness. Be battle ready! Depend on the Lord. He is your strength. He is your victor. Love letters win the battles. Trust wins the war. Have confidence in Him. He will see us through both individually and corporately. Others must be able to see the love and trust in you. This is necessary for becoming battle ready and for winning. Love and trust. Righteousness. Be holy for I am holy. These are the elements my soldiers must have love, trust, righteousness, holy, merciful and just. These are the winning characteristics you must possess. Amen! You are my King, O God; Command victories for Jacob. Through You we will push down our enemies; Through Your name we will trample those Who rise up against us. For I will not trust in my bow, Nor shall my sword save me. But You have saved us from our enemies, And have put to shame those who hated us. In God we boast all day long, And praise Your name forever. Psalm 44:4-8 In this lesson we will be reviewing the battle orders of the King of King. We will be acknowledging Him as the Supreme authority both in heaven and on earth. And finally we will recognize the fact that He is our strength, He is our victor, on Him we can depend. The King of Kings I became curious after reviewing the words the Lord gave this week particularly those in regards to kingship. Therefore I decided to look up information relating to monarchies or kings and kingdoms. I think we are all familiar with the monarchies found in England and Monaco, Jordan, Denmark and the Netherlands; but I know that there are others that I am less familiar with. After doing a little research on the internet I found that there are somewhere around 30 monarchies currently.

2 Queen Elizabeth II is the current monarch of the United Kingdom, King Albert II that of Belgium and the current monarch of Jordan is King Abdullah II. And then we have, of course, read of the kings mentioned in our bible also. For example there was the king of Og, the king of Hebron even a king of Sodom. There were so many in fact that we don t have the time or space to list them all. But as biblical kings go, there have been several whose actions have made them stand out in our minds; like King Saul, King David, King Solomon or even King Herod. A king is defined as a male monarch or in other words as a person who reigns over a kingdom or empire as a sovereign ruler, who holds preeminent position or power, whose position is hereditary and he holds the position for life. We can see from this definition that power is one of the key elements of a monarch. Amongst the current monarchies their power is listed or considered as either absolute or constitutional (anywhere from partial to being a mere figurehead) dependent upon the country. Our King, our sovereign, however, is unique. He is described in these verses below: Revelation 19:16 KING OF KINGS AND THE LORD OF LORDS Jeremiah 32:17 Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you. Deuteronomy 3:24 O Lord GOD, You have begun to show Your servant Your greatness and Your mighty hand, for what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do anything like Your works and Your mighty deeds? Our God, as described above, is the King of Kings. Yes, He is the one sovereign that even earthly kings bow to. He is the God of great and absolute power. Nothing is too hard for Him. He created the heavens and the earth and everything there in. He is KING! Acknowledge and reverence your King! Reverence For Your King What is reverence? Reverence is defined as honor or respect felt or shown, deference (esteem due a superior); a gesture of respect (as a bow); the state of being revered (to show devoted deferential honor to, regard as worthy of great honor). This week the Lord reminded us to have reverence for our King: 02/15/12 MVA - Respect, obedience shows respect to your God Jesus. 02/16/12 DP - Enter into My gates, Yes Lord. Place of reverence and worship, 02/17/12 DP - Time of reverence, honor given to whom honor is due, 02/17/12 MVA dedication, devotion to your God Jesus. Exalt your King Jesus. 02/19/12 BT - Reverence, you must show reverence and respect for your King, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Supreme. 02/19/12 CT - Bowing our heads in reverence to the Lord. Acknowledging His Kingship, His Kingdom, His reign, His sovereignty! All these words, but most specifically, the words: respect, obedience, and reverence combined with the very definition of reverence, have all come together to paint a picture in my mind. It is a picture of praise and worship. And then both praise and worship actually come around full circle as outward expressions of this reverence we should have for our KING. Interestingly

enough, when I looked those two words up in the dictionary that is exactly what it said, praise is defined as worship and worship is defined as an expression of reverence. Therefore, when the Lord has spoken to us in the past and said: 01/10/10 CT - Praise Jesus daily. (It's part of the joy factor). 09/26/11 CT - Glory mornings; offer praise and worship and sing a song of righteousness to begin your day. Start it off on the right foot. There is expansion in His Kingdom. Salvation received. Offer it up. Offer up praise. Glory hallelujah! Then I heard the doxology in my head Praise God from whom all blessings flow, Praise Him above ye heavenly host; Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Start your day with praise. Praising God for His Goodness, Mercy and Salvation. You get the confession report. You know the Kingdom is expanding! 11/20/11 CT - Count your many blessings and see what God has done and then offer up praise and hallelujahs for God s wondrous works. Observe nature and His creation. It is part of His works. It cements our relationship with the knowledge of My presence. 12/20/11 Lift up praise and prayers. Be receptive to what I am sending. Open your hearts and receive. Allow Me to be the head, the lead, the authority. The Lord has in effect been reminding us all along to have reverence for Him, just as He reminded us this week. And in the bible we are told: Psalm 29:1-2 Give unto the LORD O you mighty ones, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. Psalm 45:11 So the King will greatly desire your beauty; because He is your Lord, worship Him. Psalm 66:4 All the earth shall worship You and sing praises to You; they shall sing praises to Your name. Matthew 4:10 Then Jesus said to him, Away with you, Satan! For it is written, You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve. Therefore, we can gather from all of this that the Lord is directing us to offer up praise, worship, respect, obedience and reverence in our daily life. Light Versus Darkness 3 Thus far we have acknowledged the Lord as our King and we have reviewed His words that have encouraged us to give Him the honor and respect due a King. We also briefly spoke of kingdoms; but at this time I would like to talk about kingdoms in greater detail. This is some of what Jesus said in regards to kingdoms: Matthew 4:17 Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 6:33 Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Luke 17:20-21 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, See here! or See there! For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you. Jesus told us that the kingdom of God is within you, but we must be aware that there is also a battle going on over this territory. It is a battle of good against evil, light versus darkness. In fact this is what the Lord said this week, The horsemen are preparing for battle. A war is being waged, good against evil, light versus darkness. Be battle ready! Depend on the Lord. He is your strength. He is your victor. The enemy is always trying to get us to slip up. He will try to tempt or entice you away from God just as he tried to tempt Jesus. He wants to separate as many as he can from the Lord s kingdom. In fact the Lord gave me a dream about this just last night. After I woke up, I knew the Lord wanted me to include the dream in this lesson. The dream is as follows: 02/22/12 CT DREAM I wanted to travel to another country, another kingdom; however, several people tried to discourage me from doing this because it was a dangerous place. But I wanted to go there. I wanted to see what it was like. I had to have certain papers in order to legally get into this kingdom. Once inside I stayed for a period of time in order to get a feel for the place. What I discovered was that there was no peace in this place. It was very stressful there. There was constant fighting. Bullets were forever flying through the air. You could not trust anyone. I realized that this was a bad place to be. Even the things that you would have thought would be fun were not. Everyone was used and abused. Your life was out of your control. There were other people there who were like me; they had gone there just because they wanted to see what it was like. Some of these people had been there for a long period of time. I explained to a few of them that I wanted to leave this place. So they tried to help me escape by giving me advice but they didn t seem hopeful the advice would work. I discovered that it was just like they said, it s hard to leave this kingdom once you are there because you have no real power. These people who gave me the advice always seemed fearful and in a hurry. They were looking for some place to hide but there was none. They had tried to leave, but they had been unsuccessful. Like I said, a few of these people did appear to be trying to help but you didn t really feel confident that you could trust anyone. Part of the problem with this place was that the rules and the laws were constantly changing. They would change at the whim or discretion of the corrupt leaders. Usually they were changed just to keep you from leaving. It was a very dark and evil place. Once inside this kingdom you were virtually trapped. Your future was out of your hands. You were in their realm, their kingdom. If you didn t do what they wanted, if you didn t have the correct stamp or whatever arbitrary document they wanted, you legally could not leave. And it was impossible to get what you needed to get out. You had in effect became a prisoner of this kingdom. After I awoke from this the Lord made me realize that He was teaching me another component of this lesson through the dream. It was something He wanted me to understand. He wanted me to have a better understanding of good against evil, light versus darkness. Remember He said: a war is being waged, good against evil, light versus darkness. A battle is going on over territory. 4

From this dream the Lord showed me that sometimes we are our own worst enemies. Whether we are being curious or rebellious allowing self to take control is dangerous. Even though I had been warned of the dangers, I still wanted to see what it was like. I wanted to experience it myself but I discovered that this was a very poor choice. It was dangerous because I was unaware and unprepared. Yes, the Lord reaffirmed the disastrous effects of allowing self to guide us or take control. Remember, I went to this kingdom because it was something I wanted to do. I had been advised not to go. 5 The Lord also reinforced the importance of legalities and how they affect what happens to us. The laws that the KING of KINGS has set in place are laws that protect us and they also provide assurances to us. They have been made with our good in mind. However, the enemy lives by a different set of rules. He does not have your best interest in mind. Remember a battle is going on over territory. And the last thing the Lord showed me through this dream was the difference between light and dark. It was so dark and evil in this other kingdom. Even the look of it was unclean and used up. The atmosphere or feel of the place was just as bad. There was constant fear, fighting, and abuse. There was no sense of peace or trust there. There was no comparison between the Lord s glorious creation and that of the dark kingdom. It reminded me of the times the Lord has told us to go and look at His creation. Just like He did on 10/17/10 CT - Be joyful, soar in happiness for what is, for what you ve learned, for how far you have come. Rapt attention, pay attention to all that is around you. Notice life and its fullness. Minor and major chords; musical chords; listen to the music of life. Take it all in. Do you understand that I m talking about my creation: plants, animals, stars and space, earth and people. It is all my creation. This is an intense sensory experience for you sight, sounds, smells and tastes. It is all my creation. I Am in it all. Let it envelop you. See me in it. See what I created not what man has made or corrupted but see what I have made, look for it and embrace it. Embrace what I have made. Romans 1:20 For ever since the creation of the universe His invisible qualities both His eternal power and His divine nature have been clearly seen, because they can be understood from what He has made. Believe me there is truly no comparison between light and dark. The Lord s nature is divine. The enemy s is dark and sinister. They are the exact opposites. The enemy is trying to obtain all that does not belong to him. And because we have now come to understand that this battle is going on; we truly need to embrace not only what the Lord has said but we also need to embrace what He has made. Embracing His creation is important because it not only keeps us closer to Him but it also is a way that we can show reverence and respect for our King, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Supreme. The Lord explained, I am the light and the way. The truth is in me. Find me, and you will find your way. You must seek me in all things great and small. I have the plan for victory, my plan is sure. My plan has provisions for you. You must stay close to me. Follow my every instruction. Victory from the battle comes through the Lord. Keep the door to darkness closed. It s not a pretty place. Love and Trust

6 The Lord just showed us the difference light and dark through the dream He gave. I believe He continues demonstrating this contrast with these next words: Love letters win the battles. Trust wins the war (this amazes me because I was given the words several days before the dream but that just gives us a demonstration of God s awesomeness doesn t it). Anyway, He followed those words with this: Others must be able to see the love and trust in you. This is necessary for becoming battle ready and for winning. Love and trust. Righteousness. Be holy for I am holy. These are the elements my soldiers must have love, trust, righteousness, holy, merciful and just. These are the winning characteristics you must possess. What a vivid contrast the Lord has just presented between light and dark, good and evil! I can honestly say that the people who have been the dearest to me in my life have not been those I feared. They have not been those I mistrusted. No, the people who have had the greatest impact on me are those who have loved me and those I have found to be trustworthy and merciful. I guess you could say that they have also been nonjudgmental people. And these are the characteristics the Lord wants us to have as well. This is because these are the very people who influence us the most. Those we love and trust. Remember Love letters win the battles. Trust wins the war. 1 Timothy 6:11-16 But you, O man of GOD, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate, that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ s appearing, which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom he honor and everlasting power. Summation We have one King and He is the King of Kings. But He is teaching us that there is a battle going on. And He want us to fight the good fight of faith, have conviction; and lay hold of all the Lord is revealing to us. He tells us to Act, act out my ways; therefore we should maintain the character that He desires us all to have by Ridding ourselves of sin. He said, Be holy for I am holy. These steps are important because He understands the value of good instead of evil and of light instead of darkness. Consequently, we must give Him the praise, respect and reverence befitting our King because He has a plan for victory and His plan is sure. Let s close by taking time to review His words from 02/19/12: BT Silence is a must. You must come to me in silence. Reverence, you must show reverence and respect for your King, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Supreme. All will submit to my authority.
