It is a 17th century old fort built by Raja Man Singh, also known as the Amer Palace. It was built in red sandstone and marble, with influences of both Hindu and Muslim architecture. Photo Stop: You will have photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) and Jal Mahal (Lake Palace). Maharaja City Palace: Located northeast of the centre of the gridpatterned Jaipur city, incorporates an impressive and vast array of courtyards, gardens and building, built in 1728, it is one of the most preserved monuments in India. Jantar Mantar (observatory): The 18th century collection of architectural astronomical instruments of the Mughal period. Jaipur known as world s famous Gem cutting center. We will visit one of the showrooms, which has been in servicing the Royal family for last 500 years. Birla Temple: Originally known as Lakshmi Narayan Temple, and is situated below the Moti Dungri Fort in Jaipur. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, this temple is a proud architectural landmark of Jaipur. DAY 3 第三天 Jaipur (240km) Agra (Full breakfast / Indian lunch & dinner) Travel to Agra, once was the capital of the Mughal Empire. En-route, stop at Fatehpur Sikri for a visit to Jama Mosque. It is a 17th century mosque and one of the largest mosques in India. Taj Mahal: One of the Seven Wonders of the World, being awarded twice, which was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal (Closed on Friday). There are a number of exquisite building and several royal halls within its portals. DAY 5 第五天 New Delhi (1:30 hours) Srinagar, Kashmir (Full breakfast / Indian lunch & dinner) Depart to Srinagar, the summer capital of Kashmir, located on the foot of Himalayan Mountains. On arrival, check-in to typical Kashmiri houseboat. Sightseeing tour of Kashmir to visit the Mughal Gardens. Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure): The largest Mughal garden situated on the banks of world famous Dal-Lake in the backdrop of Zabarwan hills encircles the Dal Lake. Shalimar Bagh (Garden of Love): It was planted by Mughal emperor Jehangir for Empress Noor Jahan in 1619 AD and later extended in 1727 A.D. by Shah Jahan. Shaded by magnificent Chinar trees, the Shalimar is a series of stone pavilions and flowing water with paint box bright flower beds. In winter, it fully covered snow-white mountains, turns into a skier paradise. The natural slopes here are untouched and prove to be a challenge to ace skier! DAY 7 DAY 8 第七天 第八天 Srinagar, Kashmir (1:30 hours) New Delhi (Full breakfast / Indian lunch & dinner) Domestic flight back to New Delhi. Sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi: Raj Ghat, is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. India Gate designed by British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens, sits at the center of New Delhi in the middle of a traffic circle at one end of Rajpath. Built in 1921, the Arc-de-Triomphe-like gate commemorates the 90,000 members of the British Indian Army killed during World War I and the Third Afghan War. The Parliament of India is located in the north western side of the Vijay Chowk in the vicinity of the secretariat buildings. The parliament house marks governance of the world's largest democracy. Baha I Lotus Temple: (Closed on Sunday): one of the best architectural marvels in the county. The white marble structure is also called the Taj Mahal of the 20th century but it is so much more than just a splendid piece of architecture. The entire structure of the temple has been built without using steel and is complete with 234 intricately carved pillars, 9 beautiful domes, 20 rising towers, a plinth of stone elephants known as the Gajendra Pith along with statues of famous Indian sadhus and spiritual personalities. The structure of the mandir is an amalgamation of pink stone and white marble. Evening free for shopping. After dinner transfer to airport for flight back home.
