Donna welcomed everyone to the meeting. PARISH MINISTRY PETALS MEETING February 7, 2019 Fr. Brandon welcomed everyone and said a prayer and then we all prayed the St. Anne's Parish Ministry Petals Prayer together. We watched a video by Fr. Mike Schmitz "You Are A Burden". Donna asked if there were any more affirmations to add to tonight s meeting. Affirmations: Affirmation to Korina Butler for helping with the School s Petal weekend. It was a pretty busy weekend for the school with crab feed, Korina stepped in and helped. Affirmation to Fr. Brandon and Deacon Tom for their involvement with Mrs. Newman s funeral. Affirmations that were on tonight's Meeting Agenda: St. Anne s School Petal for having students/ parents speaking at every Mass to invite everyone to the School s Open House. School Crab Feed: Wonderful event, Hilda and her team did a tremendous job. One of the most successful events to date! Thanks to all those who made the evening so memorable. Carl and MaryAnn Maggio did a tremendous job with this year s Walk for Life! Filled the bus because of their passionate presentation at each of the Masses. Thanks so much to them and all those who are standing together to speak on behalf of the unborn! Catholic Schools Week: Wonderful week of community building, here in the Parish as well as with Parishes from around the Diocese. Many thanks to Mrs. Mar and her team for a joy-filled week! Pastor's Report: Fr. Brandon Ware Father Brandon thanked everyone for being here and spoke about how we have two speakers who would like to start new ministries at St. Anne s Church. He also explained the process for a new ministry to start at St. Anne s. 1

Love Lodi: Fr. Brandon introduced Elisa Moberly. She presented the Love Lodi and looks forward to the possibility of having a new ministry here at St. Anne s. Elisa shared a little bit of history of Love Lodi. The idea is to get churches, government, schools etc. to do various projects at schools and parks all throughout the city of Lodi. This would be perfect for all ages. Sidewalk Prayer at Planned Parenthood: Fr. Brandon introduced Gabby Lara. She would like to start Sidewalk Prayer at Planned Parenthood. The idea of sidewalk prayer is to take a group of volunteers and go to Planned Parenthood and pray for an hour during abortion time and pray for those who are inside Planned Parenthood: workers, pregnant women and those who cannot speak. Gabby has connections with Sidewalk Advocate For Life and 40 Day Advocate. They can train those who would like to go and pray at Planned Parenthood. Fr. Brandon asked everyone that while in their small groups, please discuss if there are any questions or concerns with either Ministry starting at St. Anne s. Bishop s Ministry Appeal 2019: Fr. Brandon said Mike S. from the Diocese will be talking to us this weekend about his role and about the BMA. Our Diocesan Goal this year is $146,819 and $12,000 will go towards St. Anne s Place. Ash Wednesday: Fr. Brandon said that he is looking forward to a busy day, come and pray with us. Ash Wednesday is March 6.
