Gloria Butler is a native of Valdosta, GA. She is married to Leroy, Butler, Jr. and they have two lovely daughters, one son-in-law: Tyrah Nichole Butler Chatman (Evan), Dr. Desdamona Marlana Butler and two beautiful Grand Daughters, Little Miss Landyn Kai Chatman and Little Miss Karsyn Lee Chatman. Sister Butler is a member of Woodlawn Forrest Church of Christ where her husband is the pulpit Evangelist. Gloria speaks for various Ladies Day Programs and serves as the Georgia Coordinator for the National Ministers Wives Conference. One of her favorite passages of scripture can be found in Ecclesiastes 9:10: Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might, for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. Janie Burgess has been married to Glenn Burgess Sr. for 48 years. He is the minister of the MLK Church of Christ in Arcadia, FL. Over the years, they have served congregations in South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi and Texas and Florida. They are the proud parents of three adult children: Towanda, Glenn II & Glenda, who are all members of the Church. To this union they are proud grandparents of 10 wonderful grandchildren. Janie is thankful to God for all of His blessings for He is a good God. She finds it a Joy & Honor spreading the Word of God to women in an effort to up lift and encourage them and has been invited to speak on several Ladies Seminars and Workshops. In the midst of a snowstosalon very early on January 9, 1962, God blessed the late Harry Dent Jr. and Linnie M. Dent, with their eldest child, a baby girl, they named Debbie Renee. Their daughter is now the muchcherished wife of Randy Cole Sims, Sr, and Mommy to Stepheni, Demetrius, Schuyler (Miesha), Randy II (Jamila), and Ranada. She is honored to be Nana to Tra von, R Nashia, Randi, Randy III, Amelia Renee, SyMare, Liam, Ryelin, Ariel, Michael & Ryon Renee. Her crew also includes grand pets Nina, Loki & Bella. Debbie serves the Fiske Blvd Church of Christ by leading the WiNGS Ministry and teaching WiNGS Ladies Bible Class. Debbie assists her husband, Randy, Senior Minister at Fiske Blvd Church of Christ, with couples counseling and conducting Marriage & Couples workshops. Her favorite passages of scripture are Romans 8:28, Matthew 6:33 and Jeremiah 29:11. 18
