MARTIN is currently studying for his Bachelor s Degree and just finished his 5th semester at university within Computer Systems and Internet Technology. Q&A with MARTIN - continued MARTIN s dreams, favourites and experiences Who are your idols/heroes/heroines? Sean Plott who is a computer nerd who followed his dream to become a commentator for the game he loved. He is relentlessly positive and proud of what he does. What are your goals in life? I have never made any long termed goals in my life because I live life one day at a time. My only current goal is to finish my education, after that I will see where life brings me, and then make a new goal. What were your childhood dreams: I really don t remember my childhood dreams. Which values do you rank the highest? Individuality. Which childhood experience made the biggest impression on you? The first girl I fell in love with. It was in 6th grade I think, I suddenly felt how happy a girl could make me. But I also felt the pain that comes when you break up, being so young it felt like the end of the world. What is your favourite colour? Red I think, don t know why. What is your favourite animal? Dog - I grew up with dogs in the family so I have always loved them. What is your favourite kind of food? Tuna mousse, just taste so good! What is your favourite kind of music: I like all kinds of music, just not every track. What is your favourite kind of car: I have never had my own, so I don t know. What is your favourite kind of pet: Dog again. Which was your greatest experience or moment? My greatest moment so far has been the change from, living with my parents, and then moving to a hole new city to live in my own apartment. I have nothing against my parents, but I somehow felt free and that a whole new life was ahead of me. Happiest/Funniest: I think my happiest and funniest moments was either during my time in boarding school where I met so many new people and made a lot of friendships for life. Or, it was a more recent experience at a festival. We were a group of 12-14 people and we decided to live together in a camp during the 9 days of the festival. We didn t know each other before we met 2 days before the festival started. But the first day everyone acted like we had known each other for years, and this was the beginning of 9 unforgettable days. I have never had so much fun or felt so happy, and now we go there together every year. Scariest/Most dangerous: I don t think I ve had many scary moments, but one I remember was when I was skiing off piste in a forest. There was too many trees and I was skiing to fast, I hit a tree with the right side of my body, and span around flying backwards. I still dont believe how lucky I was not hitting a tree with the back of my head while I flew several meters. Definitely a close to death feeling I had there. Proudest: I think my proudest moment was the first time I went skiing by the age of 16 with my bording school. I was a natural pro, and the third day of skiing I went to a test with 10 other friends to see if we were qualified for skiing on the black slopes (the toughest ones). I and 3 others made it. When it was announced we were called up one by one infront of the whole school, and I still remember the cheering and clapping when my name was announced. Many others that failed had been skiing several times before, and me making it after 3 days was pretty remarkable. I think the reason I was such a quick learner was that I had no fear of falling or getting hurt, I enjoyed every bit of it. Greatest sorrow: The breakup with my first girlfriend. I was young but I took it so hard. What is your favourite time of year: Every time of the year has its own pros and cons, so I am not sure. What is your favourite movie and/or director: Avatar.
