Dear Parish family, We invite our families to register for our Faith Formation programs: K-5, junior high Edge program and the high school Life Teen program, two ways; online at https://goo.gl/ptxq1j or with a paper registration that you will find at the entrances of our Church. If finances are an issue, please let us know; we want your child more than your $. God bless! Sherry and Chris Once again, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for the support you have given to the youth who just attended the Steubenville East Conference. Thank you to all of you who have donated over the last few weeks, including a very generous donation by the Knights of Columbus. Through the kindness of all of you, we have raised $4,897.00. This has not only helped us to defray some of the bigger costs of attending the Conference this year, but will be able to help many go next year as well! Thank you to all of you who have also kept the eleven youth who attended the Conference in your prayers. It was clear that the Holy Spirit was present and at work in the hearts of the youth who came with us this year. Prayer is a powerful gift from God, and I firmly believe that your prayers of intercession had an impact on the success of the Conference and the openness of heart that the youth had for Jesus Christ. Thank you for your constant support for the youth of our parish through your great kindness in both prayer and donation. Many seeds were sown this past weekend in the hearts of our young people, and I believe that they fell on well-tilled soil. Thank you for helping to make that possible. Become the woman of grace God created you to be! The Women of Grace Foundational Study, FULL OF GRACE: WOMEN AND THE ABUNDANT LIFE is a dynamic program for Catholic women, encouraging study participants to come to a fuller understanding of their dignity and vocation as daughters of God. They'll dig deep into Catholic teaching to examine their gift of authentic femininity using the study text "FULL OF GRACE", Sacred Scripture, the Catechism, citations from Vatican II and other Magisterial Documents, as well as the biographies of 16 Catholic women saints. As they learn the great gift of authentic femininity and how to live it out in the world today, hearts are healed, lives are changed, and souls are saved! Intercessions for Life May the merciful and gracious Spirit of God help us protect and care for each person s life; We pray to the Lord. Below are just a couple of the CD titles available in our Lighthouse Media Collection: The Case for Jesus: The Biblical and Historical Evidence for Christ Dr. Brant Pitre, scripture scholar and bestselling author, uses biblical and historical evidence to bolster the case for Jesus by exposing the problems with the many false theories that have been introduced over the past hundred years resulting in widespread skepticism about the reliability of Christian faith. He tackles head-on questions like: Were the four Gospels written anonymously? Did Jesus claim to be God? Did Jesus fulfill the Jewish prophecies of the Messiah? and many more. Vatican II, Mercy and You In this illuminating talk, Fr. Michael Gaitley recounts how Archbishop Karol Wojtyla, later Pope St. John Paul II, used the teachings of the Second Vatican Council with great success to help Catholics in his diocese live their faith to the full. Learn how Vatican II provides a map to help us enrich our lives through faith and effectively experience the good news of God s divine mercy. Has Something Changed?? Have you moved, or changed your phone number? Do you now use online giving and would rather not receive envelopes anymore?
