As in the past, you are invited to take home an ornament with a suggested dona on for a worthy charity. Please return your unwrapped gi with the ornament a ached to the Giving Tree. Each year, many families in need benefit from the extraordinary generosity of so many Holy Infant parishioners. The following chari es are represented on this year s tree: Sts. Peter and Paul Shelter which is an emergency shelter serving homeless men providing basic needs of food, showers, laundry and a warm place every day of the year; The St. Vincent DePaul Society operated by Holy Infant Parishioners assists the needy within our parish boundaries with food, rent, u li es and transporta on; Holy Infant Families in Need serves families in our local community. These gi cards allow families who are struggling the joy of shopping and purchasing necessary food items and gi s for their family; St. Martha's Hall & the Kathy Weinman Shelter which help abused women and their children break the cycle of violence in their lives by offering safe shelter and services; The St. Wenceslaus Food Pantry operated by our own parishioners, provides food and toiletries once a month to several hundred people at our sister parish in South City; The Wellston Center on the north side of town which provides food, clothing and other basic essen als to lower income families in need; The College Church Outreach Ministry which serves the homeless around the College Church Parish at St. Louis University. They provide socks, t-shirts, underwear and cold-weather gear throughout the year for the homeless. If you do not have me to shop, you can stop by the table in the ves bule and purchase a gi card or make a dona on, and let out volunteers shop for you. Please return the gi s for the Wellston Center by 12 o clock noon on Sunday, December 2nd. Basketball Scorekeepers Needed! B-Ball Scorekeepers must be 7th grade or older and must a end a 1-hour training session on this Tuesday, NOV. 20 at 7:00pm in the Upper Cafeteria, plus work 2 training games in the Mike Kelly Tournament in December. Once you are trained pay is $10 per game. Games are played Saturdays and Sundays from January thru March. You MUST register for the class by email: Michellebess486@gmail.com. Our Lady told us at Fa ma that when enough people have been converted, the triumph of her Immaculate Heart will come and there will peace. Thanksgiving Mass: November 22 9 a.m. All are invited to join us for this special liturgy. This is a great opportunity to come together as a parish family and give thanks and praise to our heavenly Father for His many blessings and faithful love. Everyone is invited to bring non-perishable items to help stock the food pantry at St. Wenceslaus. Monetary dona ons or gi cards will be given to our St. Vincent de Paul Society. We cannot accept glass containers or perishables. No black beans, please! There is a greater need for the underlined items. Different sized products are good for different sized families.
