Welcome to India!! After breakfast, your morning tour starts with Old Delhi, built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1639 AD. You will visit the Raj Ghat where father of our nation Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. You will be driven past the iconic Red Fort and Chandni Chowk, a very popular and a busy market in Old Delhi to the next stop Jama Masjid, one of the iconic, historic and largest mosques in India built by Shah Jahan. A rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk could be quite interesting as this part of the city is quite crowded as it is full of shops. These numerous shops sell delicious mouthwatering food, clothes, jewels, household goods, etc. and are virtually a shopper's paradise. In the afternoon, you will visit Qutub Minar, touted as India s largest Minaret. Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was built in 119 by Turk ruler QutubUdDin Aibak. You will then move forward to Humayun s tomb, yet another UNESCO world heritage site. Your next stop is India Gate, built in memory of the Unknown Soldier. You will be driven past the Parliament House, President s House and other Government Secretarial Buildings, to your final destination which will be Lakshminarayan Temple, a temple dedicated to Lakshmi and Lord Narayana. After breakfast you will be transferred from Delhi to Jaipur. Stopover for coffee break and photo stop enroute will be on your request. Upon arrival, you will check in at the hotel and have rest of the day at leisure in which you can partake in the activities of your interest. Accommodation: Hotel in Jaipur for Nights After breakfast your journey starts from Amer fort also known as Amer Palace, the earlier capital of Jaipur. This magnificent fort was constructed in red sandstone and marble by Raja Man Singh and is divided into four sections each with a courtyard. You could ascend the fort by walking up the steps or on an elephant's back or in jeeps. In Jaipur you will be taken to Maharaja City Palace, a royal palace with seven storeys as well as Jantar Mantar, the observatory. This wonderful observatory attracts mathematicians as well as astronomers from the whole world. City palace is perfect blend of all three excellent styles (Mughal, Rajput and European). Another palace, Hawa Mahal is popular all over world for it magnificent architecture. A tour of Jaipur is not complete without shopping. Jaipur is famous for clothes, carpets, precious and semiprecious stones and jewelry and various handicrafts made of wood, metals, etc. and also for silk paintings and miniatures.
After breakfast you will be transferred from Jaipur to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri, which was built in the 16th century by Emperor Akbar. Fatehpur Sikri holds exceptional testimony to Mughal civilization and is one of wellknown UNESCO World heritage site of India and has various historical monuments. After the visit of Fatehpur Sikri continues your drive to Agra, stopover for coffee break and photo stop at your request. Upon arrival, you will check in at the hotel and have rest of the day at leisure in which you can partake in the activities of your interest. Your next stop Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and known for its architectural structure and was built in the 16th century during the Mughal Empire. This place comprises of several fairytale palaces like Khas Mahal and Jahangir Palace. After visits drive back to Delhi, Stopover for coffee break and photo stop enroute will be on your request. After breakfast you will be transferred from Delhi to Haridwar. Stopover for coffee break and photo stop enroute will be on your request. On arrival in Haridwar proceed to visit Daksha Mahadev Temple which is a famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Next head to Saptrishi Ashram which is an old beautiful ashram located on the banks of River Ganges. Your next stop will be at Pawan Dham which is a social nonprofitable organization and is one of the most visited pilgrim site of Hindus. From here, you will then head to Kushavarta Ghat which is considered most sacred among all the Ghats in Haridwar. All rite and rituals including the Shraddha rite for the departed souls are performed on this ghat. End your tour with visit to HariKiPauri ghat which is a major landmark and a famous ghat on the bank of River Ganges. After visits, continue your drive to Rishikesh. Accommodation: Hotel in Rishikesh for Nights Early morning you will have your first yoga session at the hotel. It is a 5000 yearold Indian body of knowledge. Though many think of yoga only as a physical exercise where people twist, turn, stretch, and breathe in the most complex ways, these are actually only the most superficial aspect of this profound science of unfolding the infinite potentials of the human mind and soul. The science of Yoga imbibes the complete essence of the Way of Life. After this have your breakfast and shower. After some rest proceed to visit Ram Jhula & Laxman Jhula which is iron suspension bridge over the holy River Ganges. Both these bridges are famous land mark in Rishikesh and offers panoramic vise of River Ganges and the city having number of temples. Next head to Sivananda Ashram which was founded by Swami Sivananda in 1936 and comes under India s top most yoga center which is run by Divine Life Society. Your next stop will be at Triveni Ghat which is a sacred ghat in Rishikesh and is famous for Ganga Aarti. Your next stop will be at Geeta Bhawan which is a large complex and is a major place for devotees as they get free stay during their holy dip in River Ganges with listening to discourses and meditation. This evening head to Parmarth Niketan which is one of the top yoga centers in India and the biggest ashram in the area. Attend the evening Aarti ceremony here as this ashram is famous for its hawan on the ghats and the Aarti ceremony which takes place daily in morning & evening.
Early morning you will have second yoga session at the hotel. After this have your breakfast and shower. You can either enjoy some free time in Rishikesh and then drive to Delhi or else drive directly back to Delhi after breakfast.
