Purchase a $10 Meijer Food Pantry Donation Card (available at the check-out registers), which Meijer will convert to a $10 Meijer food gift card that is given to EFPN to help stock pantry shelves. In addition, Meijer Corporation will make a contribution to EFPN. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and the Meijer Corporation, EFPN received around $4200 in Meijer gift cards during the spring 2015 campaign. Law, PhD, Executive Director of the Joy-Southfield Community Development Corp. Joy-Southfield is a health and education center located on the far west side of Detroit. Among the goals of Joy- Southfield is improving the health status of the community through expanded access to primary and preventive care. They also are providing a patient home for underinsured residents of the community to aid in the management of chronic illnesses and reduce dependence on emergency departments. Learn about Joy-Southfield and enjoy a soup and salad dinner catered by Pamela Wilson. The cost of the meal is $10. Chancel Choir Chancel Choir rehearsals will begin on September 10 at 7:30 pm in the Choir Room. We welcome anyone who loves to sing! The Choir sings most Sundays from September through May. Many voices make light work; please come when you can to praise God in song during our worship services. Wesley Men Wesley Men will resume rehearsals on September 13 at 10:20 am in the Choir Room. This Choir of men s voices sings five to six times a year. We rehearse on Sundays between services. The men have a fun time singing praise to God and learning four part men s harmony. Please come and join us! Wesley Women Wesley Women will resume rehearsals on September 17 at 6:30 pm in the Choir Room We love to sing three and four part harmony to praise our God!
