It s Lent, the forty day journey before Easter, where we consider our own journey with Jesus as His apprentices. This year, we will be walking along with Simon Peter, see his journey with Jesus, and find hope for our own. Peter had moments of great faith and of deep doubt; times when we spoke faithfully and times when he spoke foolishly. In Jesus, Peter found what he needed : A Lifeline hope, meaning purpose, rescue and redemption for life. It Was A Dark and Stormy Night and one of the most famous moments in Peter s story happened. What Peter discovered we can discover, too in our own dark and stormy nights.

A Word About Worship. You are welcome here. Really. You are among friendly people who care, who aren t perfect, but are on a journey of faith. If you are a guest, we don t expect you to give an offering; if you wish to do so, we re grateful. Join us for refreshments downstairs after worship. We hope you are blessed by being here, and that you ll come again! KID CONNECTION welcomes all children! Come up front for the children s time; parents welcome, too! OCEANS You call me out upon the waters, The great unknown where feet may fail. And there I find You in the mystery, In oceans deep, my faith will stand. And I will call upon Your name, And keep my eyes above the waves, When oceans rise My soul will rest in Your embrace, For I am Yours, and You are mine. Your grace abounds in deepest waters; Your sov'reign hand will be my guide. Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me, You've never failed and You won't start now. Spirit, lead me where my trust is without borders; Let me walk upon the waters Wherever You would call me; Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander, And my faith will be made stronger In the presence of my Saviour. I will call upon Your name, Keep my eyes above the waves, My soul will rest in Your embrace, I am Yours, and You are mine.
