Each year, the decision to open St. Francis Mission Church in Greene for a Saturday Mass from Memorial Day through Labor Day has to be made. After much consultation with some parishioners, past and present employees, Father Martel, and Our Lady of the Rosary s finance committee, the decision has been made to not open the chapel for Masses this summer season. The future use of St. Francis Mission will be part of our parish discussions as we move toward the future. Thank you for your understanding.

Our Catholic Cemeteries With the change of seasons and the opening of our cemeteries please remember that while the parish is responsible for the normal upkeep, monuments and markers are the responsibility of families. In any cemetery, the monuments remain the property of the individual. Just a reminder that our cemeteries are sacred ground and should be treated as such. Please note: If you bring flowers/plants to the cemetery, once they are spent, please bring a trash bag and take the plants and any artificial flowers home with you. The cleanup can be costly and it would be a nice service to the church to keep the cemeteries tidy. Please also bring your own gallons of water to water your plants. Thank you.
