The Banks will be closed on December 31, 2018. Thank you, Janet Parsons Our Beautiful Altar Flowers You can continue to sign up to purchase our altar flowers on upcoming 2019 Sundays for $55. What a lovely way to honor or remember someone you love. Birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions are all wonderful times to sponsor our altar flowers. A lot of folks, when they pick up their flowers on Monday, then pass these beautiful arrangements along to someone who is sick or just needs a little something to brighten their day. Thank you for signing up to sponsor flowers for a Sunday Worship Service.

Toys for Tots In case you haven t seen it yet, there is a Toys for Tots collection box over in Berly hall. In past years we have done such a wonderful job of collecting toys we earned an award! Please open your hearts to giving of a new unwrapped toy to be given to children in need in our local communities. You can also donate money too. Checks should be made out to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. The cut-off date is December 14. Thank you all. The Nurture committee is in need of volunteers. In particular we need someone to take over the management of the kitchen. There is no cooking involved! Someone with good organizational skills, has the ability to keep up with ordering supplies and ensure invoices are turned in for payment. Also willing to take the initiative to keep the refrigerators cleaned out and supervise general cleaning working with our janitor. We also need people to volunteer with sending out cards to those on the prayer list and making calls. You will take a month at a time to send the cards. In addition we are always looking for more people to help with the TLC committee. We need anyone who is willing to make sandwiches and/or bake cookies or brownies to be served at memorial receptions. If you are interested in supporting Saint Paul s Nurture committee in any of these areas, please contact Carol Streeter (cstreeter@usa.net) or call me 843-314-3539 or call the church office at 843-237-2294.

FEED A FAMILY FOR CHRISTMAS What better way to capture the true spirit of Christmas than to help feed a family in honor of a friend or loved one? For a $10 donation you can help feed families in need with a holiday meal distributed by The Salvation Army and help fund the Baskervill Food Pantry all year long. For each $10 donation you will receive a gift card to send to your children, grand children or friends telling them that you helped to feed a family in their honor for Christmas! There are a couple of ways to participate: 1. Mail a check with the complete form below to Baskervill Food Pantry, PO Box 990, Pawleys Island, SC 29585 and the requested number of cards will be returned by mail to you. 2. Bring your check by the office at Holy Cross Faith Memorial Episcopal Church, 88 Baskervill Drive, Pawleys Island, and pick up your cards in person. We must receive your check by December 17, 2018 in order to have cards mailed out before Christmas.
