Come early, (around 6) to eat and fellowship and we will begin the meeting at 7:00 P.M.

A word ffrom tthe Presiidentt Well, the year is just about over. This will be the last newsletter for 2015. Man, where did the time go, seems like only yesterday we were setting chapter goals for the 2015 year and now it is time to do it again. I guess that it would only be fitting to take a look back at what God has done through our chapter over the last year. God blessed us with many opportunities to spend time as a chapter in fellowship while enjoying a meal at the monthly Fly-ins, our monthly Bikes and Burgers, our meetings and Bible study nights. We were able to share the Gospel of Christ through our Blessing of the Bikes, nursing home visits, food drives, and most every time we were on the bike. God has added to our chapter by bringing new people to join CMA. God also blessed us with a great group of leaders who were willing to follow His leadership for the chapter. All in all I would say that 2015 was a blessed year for our chapter. As we look to the New Year I want to first say thank you to our outgoing leaders. They did what God asked them to do and He blessed the chapter because of it. I also want to say welcome to our new leaders and to remind them that they are in their position because God has something for them to do. I look forward to working with each of you as God moves our chapter forward. Please be in prayer for what God wants to do in both your life and the life of the chapter during 2016. We need to be seeking His leadership in setting some goals and making plans to allow our chapter to be a tool that God will use to reach the lost. The weather will no doubt prevent us from spending much time on the bike for the next couple of months but that doesn t mean we can t look for opportunities for God to speak through us. When you are out and about God can still use you if you just seek His guidance and of course Wear Your COLORS. It s All About JESUS! David Smith, President Let there be Peace on Earth

Chaplain s Corner Everyone knows the story of the birth of Jesus, but what I want to look at is the last part of Matthew 2:11. It's where the wise men bring their gifts to Jesus: they presented unto Him gifts; gold and frankincense, and myrrh". When most people think of Christmas they think of what kind of gift they will be getting. I read a story the other night that I want to share concerning gifts. Two Americans answered an invitation to go to Russia and teach biblical principles in the public schools there. The first story they told was about the birth of Jesus and they were at an orphanage where they told the story. They went through the whole story and as they did the children and staff sat in amazement as they listened. After the story they gave the children things to build a manger of their own. As they checked out the mangers they noticed one little boy had two babies in his manger. When they ask him why he had two he told them one was Jesus and one was himself. He went on to tell them that when Mary laid the baby in the manger Jesus looked at me and asked me if I had a place to stay. I told him I have no mamma or papa so I don't have a place to stay. Then Jesus told me I could stay with Him. I told Him I couldn't because I didn't have a gift for Him. I tried to think of a gift and told Jesus "If I keep you warm, will that be a good enough gift? So I got into the manger, and then he looked at me and told me I could stay with Him...for always. As he finished his story tears rolled down his cheeks as he sobbed. The little orphan found someone who would never abandon him or abuse him. Someone who would stay with him forever! It s not WHAT you have in your life, but WHO you have in your life that counts! Merry Christmas everyone! It s all about JESUS! Mike Boyd, Chaplain Road Captain Report Merry Christmas to everyone. On November 2nd, six members attended the revival services at Midway Baptist Church where we heard a great message and were blessed. Eight members participated in the very successful food drive for senior citizens of LaSalle Parish at Mac's Market in Jena on November 14th. Bible study on November 23 rd was attended by ten members and we focused on what we were especially thankful for this

year that God had blessed us with. Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your Road Captain the past 4 years. I know there have been few rides this year due to weather conditions and cancellations. Please support Jean in her role as Road Captain and participate in as many rides as possible. December is Bingo Month. It is also Write a Friend Month! December 7 Letter Writing Day, National Cotton Candy Day as well as Pearl Harbor Day December 21 is both Flashlight Day and Look on the Bright Side Day, so I guess you could use your flashlight to look on the bright side! December 25 Christmas Day, no explanation needed! Luke 2:1-14 KJV 2 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed. 2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) 3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. 4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) 5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. 6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. 8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
