FAITH IN ACTION Protect Life Crusaders PRAY INFORM ACT Next Meeting April 24th, 6:00PM, Upper Hall Contact: Teresa Smith, teresa.j.smith16@gmail.com BABY SHOWER: MAY 20TH!! On May 20th, we will celebrate the lives of all babies spared from abortion through your prayers, and we will begin our Prayers of Thanksgiving. Prayer Cards will be distributed on May 20th. All baby shower gifts will go to Birthright. REMINDER: We need the names of your spiritually adopted babies to include on the Celebration of Life Banner. You can email your names to admin@protocathedral.org. DID YOU KNOW? The third annual National Day of Prayer and Protest Against Planned Parenthood will take place on Saturday, April 28. Local leaders are now being recruited to organize protests and prayer vigils outside Planned Parenthood facilities throughout the nation. As of April 17, 112 protests have been scheduled in 35 states. See the list below for details. This year's #ProtestPP is being held in response to Planned Parenthood's recent announcement that they plan to push for abortion initiatives in all 50 states. In the face of Planned Parenthood's efforts to expand abortion, we recognize an urgent need to educate communities throughout the United States about the true agenda of the nation's largest abortion chain. To find a location near you, or if you would like to host a protest at a Planned Parenthood facility in your area, go to protestpp.com/locations/ for details. FORMATION RESOURCES Don t forget about your FREE subscription to Formed.org, where you can stream hundreds of hours of inspiring movies and video series, read Catholic ebooks, and listen to audio presentations from compelling speakers. ADVERTISER OF THE WEEK World Day of Prayer for Vocations will be observed on Sunday, April 22nd, also known as "Good Shepherd Sunday." The purpose of this day is to publicly fulfill the Lord's instruction to, "Pray the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into his harvest" (Mt 9:38; Lk 10:2). Please pray that young men and women hear and respond generously to the Lord's call to the priesthood, diaconate, religious life, societies of apostolic life or secular institutes. You can find many resources to promote a culture of vocations on the USCCB Vocations webpage (www.usccb.org/ vocations). THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING US! 6
