Cecilia in Trastevere, to see the family chapel of S. Francesca Romana, and the Last Judgement frescoes in the adjoining convent by Pietro Cavallini. 11:15 We walk over to the Aventine Hill to see the early Christian church of S. Sabina. There we will talk about the lives of Sabina and her slave Serapia, Marcella and the consecrated widows and virgins of Rome, including Paola and Eustochium and others. We will also visit the chapel of S. Agostino and the tomb of Augustine s mother Monica, as well as view the paintings by 12.30 pm Raphael and Caravaggio. We will then visit the house of Catherine of Siena, followed by the church of S. Maria sopra Minerva, with Catherine s set of rooms and her tomb.
