I was born into a Christian home and accepted Christ s gift of salvation at an early age. My parents began taking me to our church s AWANA club when I was 3 years old. I continued in that program through the end of high school, receiving the AWANA Citation award. Since then, I ve worked as a leader in our church s youth program, finding that the more I teach the more I learn! It s been a blessing to be involved in our church, serving as a deacon and pianist. The older I get, the more I realize the blessings and advantages that I ve had being brought up in a Christian home with parents who believed in the Lord and helped me to grow in my faith. KATIE... I was raised in a Christian family and accepted Christ at the age of 4. My parents had already attended one year at New Tribes Bible Institute and were working as youth counselors for the summer at a Christian camp. At the camp s daily chapel services, there were frequent reminders of Christ s death as payment for our sins, and altar calls for kids to come forward and talk to an adult about accepting Christ. During one of the services, I went forward. My mom was one of the counselors who was meeting with individual campers. She asked me if I understood what I was doing and explained again how Christ died for our sins because nothing we do will be good enough to get us to heaven. I understood, and we prayed together. I ve continued to learn and grow in the understanding of the Lord and the Bible. TOGETHER... The Lord brought us together in 2003 while Bill was working his first full-time computer job out of college. Katie was in college studying English. We were married in 2005, just a week after Katie s college graduation. We ve continued to be involved in our local church, serving where God gives us opportunity. We feel blessed that we both come from families of born-again believers who value the Word of God and have always made prayer and worship a daily focus. We ve since had four children, and we are working to instill in them the importance of God s Word, what the Lord desires of us, and the knowledge that God wants all Christians to be a part of taking the Good News to every tribe and nation! Even though we both grew up with friends and family who were missionaries, missions was still something that others did, not what we were meant to do. Then the Lord laid the needs of missionaries on our hearts. An NTM missionary asked us, What s your role in global missions? That simple question, and our lack of a good answer, planted the seed in our hearts to go and do. We realize that in America we have every privilege the Bible in our language, communities of believers, and more resources than one knows what to do with! Working with New Tribes allows us to use our skills to assist missionaries who are translating the Bible into tribal languages and building communities of believers who can go and reach their neighbors with the Good News of Christ as well! 3

Reaching Tribes, Transforming Lives Every 45 days, New Tribes Mission is beginning a church plant in an unreached people group. As good as that sounds, it s not enough. Our desire is to see every tribe transformed by Jesus Christ in this generation. We re redoubling our efforts. We re working with local churches to equip and send out more missionaries. We re refining our methods. And we re aiming at starting a tribal church plant every 30 days. NTM MINISTERS AMONG UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUPS In 2,500 of the world s 6,500 people groups, there is no church, nor is there any work being done to establish a church. Doing our part in the big picture God is painting, we are confident that every tribe can have the opportunity, by 2040, to hear a clear presentation of the gospel. What is your part in that picture? We encourage you to discover your role in the work God is doing, and we urge you to consider partnering in a missionary s journey. NTM PRESENTS FOUNDATIONAL BIBLE TEACHING Unreached people groups have no concept of the God of the Bible. Chronological Bible teaching presents a foundation for understanding Jesus death and resurrection. Supporting Tribal Church Planting through information technology BILL AND KATIE STREETER, PAPUA NEW GUINEA MINISTRY Of the 800 plus language groups in Papua New Guinea, New Tribes Mission is working in 70 of them. Each of those language groups has a team of missionaries teaching biblical lessons, discipling new believers, teaching literacy and translating the scriptures and those teams use computers. Best Buy is not down the street, and our friend who knows something about computers isn t nearby either. Bill s role will be working with the IT team at the Lapilo center to keep the servers and networking equipment up and running. Keeping this technology running enables missionaries in the bush to have access to resources and people that make the Bible teaching and scripture translation work smoother, quicker and more accurate. By using their God-given skills, Bill and Katie are helping to plant tribal churches in the Highlands region of Papua New Guinea. 4 NTM WORKS IN THE TRIBAL CULTURE AND LANGUAGE These tribes cultures and languages have isolated them from the gospel. Missionaries must learn their language and understand their culture in order to effectively plant a church. NTM ESTABLISHES MATURE CHURCHES Following the pattern seen in Acts as God s people carried out the Great Commission, missionaries seek to establish mature churches that can take their rightful place as partners in the Great Commission. 5

Silver Lake St. Oconomowoc, WI 53066 (262) 567-0901 Friends, It is a great joy to know that Bill and Katie Streeter seek to serve the Lord as associate missionaries in Papua New Guinea, with New Tribes Mission. As the Sending and Sponsoring church, the Pastor, Board and Congregation of Grace Bible Church are fully supportive of their decision. Each has a strong testimony of commitment to spiritual growth and service. They are active in the ministry here at Grace and committed to the local church. They seek to fill an urgent need in New Tribe s I.T. department in Papua New Guinea. I know that taking on a missionary is more than just sending a monthly check. Choosing a missionary is a matter of stewardship. I am convinced that Bill and Katie are worthy of your support. Feel free to call me at the church (262-567-0901) if I can be of further help or answer any questions. Respectfully, Michael Hendricks, Pastor Grace Bible Church 6 7
