Worship and Praise Service June 14, 2015 Welcome to worship at First Christian Church! Each week we offer two different worship services: 8:15 am service features traditional worship and 10:30 am service features modern worship. Greg Taylor will share the communion and offering devotions this morning. When communion is served, we invite all Christ Followers to participate, partaking of the bread as it is passed and retaining the cup until we can all partake together. Greg Taylor will preach a message entitled Move as we launch VBS 2015.

Monticello Christian Academy s 10th Annual PRAISE in the PARK - Today, June 14th, noon to 7 pm Forest Preserve Park, Rt 105, Monticello, IL Bring your lawn chairs & blankets to enjoy a wonderful day of live Christian music. Pray for the junior high VBSers, for safety as they do service projects for various people in our community, for safety as they travel to those locations and that our young people will be a blessing to those they help and that they will be blessed by helping others. Pray for the opening event & the many volunteers that are working to keep it fun & exciting. Pray for the kitchen ladies as they prepare snacks for all the students & volunteers/workers. Thank God for Shelley as she leads in this week of high energy, lots of crafts, but most of all that lives will be changed as they hear the stories about Jesus & God.
