For your prayers this week Collect for the Twelfth Sunday after Trinity Almighty and everlasting God, you are always more ready to hear than we to pray and to give more than either we desire or deserve: pour down upon us the abundance of your mercy, forgiving us those things of which our conscience is afraid and giving us those good things which we are not worthy to ask but through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen Those to be christened Georgina Lillicrap, Maya-Tulum Kipling, Oliver Gell and Riley Popplewell. Those to be married: Lord Jesus Christ, bless those engaged to be married. May their hopes be realised and their love for each other deepen and grow, that through them your name may be glorified Those who are unwell: Martin Over, Sheila Hester, Peter Rackliff, Pauline Hamilton, Pete Robinson, Sarah Ross (Jon & Kim McDonald s daughter) and McCorley Duncan (Mike and Pam Over s Great Grandson) Those who have died: Richard Wright Anniversaries of death: June Heley (4th); Geoff Slough and Roy Clift (5th); Thomas Jones, Helen Hunter and Sophie Birch (6th); William McDonald (7th); Ruth Barclay and Ramona Herklots (8th); Margaret Munro, Betty Wren, and Anayesu Makina (9th).
