The Vision of CMM-Morningstar Missions 2012 CMM stands for Christ s Mandate for Missions. Founded as Correll Missionary Ministries by Sidney and Helen Correll in 1978. CMM is a 501c3 founded in Charlotte, NC in 1978 by Sidney and Helen Correll who have since have passed on. They were raised up, ordained and married by Aimee Semple McPherson in 1925. CMM was asked by Rick Joyner in 2009 to merge forces with MorningStar Ministries. MorningStar-CMM is cross denominational. We work across denominational lines and desire the unity Jesus prayed for in John 17. Our Mission: To connect and equip the global Body of Christ with the simplicity, fullness, and power of the Gospel. Psalm 2:8 We have three main areas of focus: MorningStar/CMM is called to: 1. Equip the Body of Christ (Eph. 4) and in Missions to equip national pastors and leaders. The nationals know the language, drink the water, understand the culture. 2. Connect destinies and purposes on a global scale. We are stewards of many strategic alliances, resources, talents, and humanitarian aid. 3. Be a fellowship of international missionaries, ministers and ministries who need fellowship, covering, covenant relationship, accountability, discipleship, licensing and ordination, handling of donor relations, and most of all a place where they are allowed to
follow passionately and creatively where God has called, and they are welcome with freedom and support and prayer covering by strong intercessors. Mark 16:15-18 tells us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel with power and signs and wonders. Missions are not optional. We can radically impact individuals, communities, and nations with a transforming power of Jesus Christ. God looks upon the hearts. May our hearts be pure. May our lives reflect Jesus. We are ministers of reconciliation--magnets drawing many to Jesus. Romans 14:17 says, "the Kingdom of God is not meat nor drink, but peace, righteousness, and joy in the Holy Spirit. At CMM we believe in the need for a strong foundational understanding of God s Word, empowered by the Holy Spirit and the necessity in keeping the main thing the main thing. In Essentials, UNITYIn Non-essentials, LIBERTY In All Things, LOVE We are led by the Spirit of God and thus we, like Paul, are called to be all things to all people, in order that we might save some. We work in many nations and, indeed, God is bringing us key, strategic connections and leaders and team members. We have ministry leaders and missionaries, who are trusted, proven and fruitful in many nations and led to us by the Spirit of God. We help plant and support churches, schools, and medical works. We help plan and carry out many types of training, prophetic impartation, seminars, conferences, in churches and the marketplace. We connect people, resources, and gifting
for the building of God s Kingdom, not any man s. We desire in all things to be obedient to the Lord's desires. We desire transformation in our own lives, in those God connects us with, in the communities He sends us to, and we desire to cooperate with the Spirit of God to bring fullness, wonder, joy, and all the benefits of the Holy Spirit, to as many lives as He will allow us to impact before He returns, by His grace. We help ministers, churches, and missionaries with donor relations, receipts, itineration, prayer covering, and financial accountability, web presence, MorningStar connectivity, along with donor relations. Mantles are passing and many have been passed. We are blessed to carry on the rich legacies of some of the great ministries and families of the 20th century: from roots dating back to Aimee Semple McPherson, the Corrells, the Garrs, to Derek Prince, to Nate and Phil Saint, and now to the current and future generations of faith heroes, we are positioned strategically for the work ahead with mature and experienced leaders and younger emerging leaders. Let s talk multiplication: in many of the nations we work in, a full time pastor, prophet, doctor, teacher, or evangelist, or apostle can work for $1-5 day. We all agree that equipping the five fold ministry globally is needed and for $30.00 to $150 a month, we need partners in releasing the five fold ministry gifts. A church can be built, blessing hundreds for generations, for $6,500 to $10,000, until Jesus returns. We are called to shift the paradigm thinking in ourselves and in the native pastors from being dependent on the US dollar and entitlements, to training the natives to experience personally the power and presence and love of God. As they learn and trust God as our source, not the US dollar, we are seeing amazing fruit not
just in self-sufficiency or independence, but also in utter God dependency. Our goal is to end systemic poverty with across the culture transformation while implementing the 7 Mountain Mandate. But, many places still need financial jump start to help in the beginning. If we feed them, give them medicine, or water, doors open and favor flows as they experience the love God has for them. We do not want an entitlement mentality but to take our family and friends into the very presence of the Lord with encounters and bringing a habitation of His presence into their everyday life. Then, we must wean them from milk and give them the meat, the joy of the Lord, as our strength. Phil 3:10 that we may know the fellowship of the sufferings of the Lord, so that we may know the power of the resurrection. We invite you to join us on a short term mission trip adventure in God or to partner in the support of a pastor, teacher, doctor, chaplain, missionary, or sponsoring a child. Going on a short-term mission trip is like a blood transfusion in the Body of Christ. Taking the weaker cells who need a boost, to a nation where the folks have no choice but to trust God each day, and seeing those cells grow stronger in the Lord, the weak become stronger and that in turn, will help bring revival to these shores. We are blessed to be a blessing. We endeavor to raise life long missionaries committed to winning souls while making disciples for reigning with the Lord Jesus. The day may come when we cannot travel to many nations. Travel while you can, and when that day comes where for reasons of war, famine, plague, or political instability, know that MorningStar/CMM and others have workers in place to carry on
