Household Blessing 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. 4I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. The Prosperous Soul. God desires total prosperity for your life. How to access the blessing of God for you and your family. Week 1: You and your house Exodus 12: 1The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in Egypt, 2 This month is to be for you the first month, the first month of your year. 3Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each man is to take a lamb a for his family, one for each household. 4If any household is too small for a whole lamb, they must share one with their nearest neighbor, having taken into account the number of people there are. You are to determine the amount of lamb needed in accordance with what each person will eat. 5The animals you choose must be year-old males without defect, and you may take them from the

sheep or the goats. 6Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month, when all the members of the community of Israel must slaughter them at twilight. 7Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs. 8That same night they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire, along with bitter herbs, and bread made without yeast. God s Children in Egypt had been in captivity for over 40 years. The promise of freedom had come but nothing had changed! Faith was tested. They had reached breaking point and still no change. Accept 1 The Challenge of faith Our faith is based on His perfection not on our past. The ancient Egyptians worshipped lambs. Taking a lamb, the Egyptians' deity, into their homes for four days, with the intention of slaughtering was repulsive to the Egyptians. This was an act of courage. If you don t take a lamb you family will perish. Take A Lamb

Accept 1 The Challenge of faith Reject 2 The pain of failure Deny 3 The struggle of forgiveness I am forgiven and I will forgive Week 2 As for me and my house Exodus 12: 7 Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs. (1) The Blood was a proclamation They rejected Egypt s god Khnum A man with a Rams head Sheep God To the Egyptians someone eating lamb was an abomination akin to us being cannibals. This was the god of creation and the waters. He was the god of the source of the Nile.

Joshua 24: 15But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. You re going to have to take a stand. Not on dogma, rules or religion but on relationship with The Lamb. They took the lamb into their homes for 4 days to look after it. Come out from among them! God s Call to Israel as remembered by the prophet Ezekiel Ezekiel 20:6 On that day I swore to them that I would bring them out of Egypt into a land I had searched out for them, a land flowing with milk and honey, the most beautiful of all lands. 7And I said to them, Each of you, get rid of the vile images you have set your eyes on, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.

(1) The Blood was a proclamation (2) The Blood was protection Exodus 7:12 On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn of both people and animals, and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the Lord. 13The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt. The Egyptian custom adopted by the Jews was to have stone door posts and lintels. They carved the names of everyone who lived in the house on the post and lintels. When God required the Israelites to paint the blood they collected from the Passover lamb on the doorposts and lintels, He was asking them to cover their names with the blood of the lamb. People who had left home there name was still there. Your child name is written on the lintel of your heart. Lintel means Threshold.

Isaiah 49:15 Can a woman forget her nursing child And have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you. 16 Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me. Your walls = The Blue print of your life. You re Image Tattooed on His palm. More than a sketch it s the plan for your life. Psalm 91:1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. a 2I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. 3Surely he will save you from the fowler s snare and from the deadly pestilence. 4He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You can decree and declarer protection over your family. The devil cannot have them. satan has to Passover.

Their houses had become temples. Their houses became a refuge. Only priests were supposed to sprinkle blood. Revelation 5: 9 And they sang a new song, saying: You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. 10You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God,and they will reign b on the earth. 11Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. 12In a loud voice they were saying: Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise! You have been given authority so use it. Do not be passive! Your kids are safe in your house. Your blessing is there if you will reach out and grab it.

(1) The Blood was a proclamation (2) The Blood brought protection (3) The Blood brought prosperity Exodus 12:29 At midnight the Lord struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh, who sat on the throne, to the firstborn of the prisoner, who was in the dungeon, and the firstborn of all the livestock as well. 30Pharaoh and all his officials and all the Egyptians got up during the night, and there was loud wailing in Egypt, for there was not a house without someone dead. 31During the night Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, Up! Leave my people, you and the Israelites! Go, worship the Lord as you have requested. 32Take your flocks and herds, as you have said, and go. And also bless me. 33The Egyptians urged the people to hurry and leave the country. For otherwise, they said, we will all die! 34So the people took their dough before the yeast was added, and carried it on their shoulders in kneading troughs wrapped in clothing. 35The Israelites did as Moses instructed and asked the Egyptians for articles of silver and gold and for clothing. 36The Lord had made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and they gave them what they asked for; so they plundered the Egyptians. Jerimiah 29: For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Plans to prosper you. = welfare, health, prosperity:

A blueprint for you to prosper. Instead of entitlements, Judaism begins with blessings. Instead of rights, Judaism begins with responsibilities. God never designed you to fail. God is the master architect and builder. You rich in spirit, soul and body. Psalm 35:26 Let those be ashamed and humiliated altogether who rejoice at my distress; Let those be clothed with shame and dishonor who magnify themselves over me. 27Let them shout for joy and rejoice, who favor my vindication; And let them say continually, The LORD be magnified, Who delights in the prosperity of His servant. 28And my tongue shall declare Your righteousness And Your praise all day long. I delight in your prosperity. Do not be jealous. Rejoice!

Judaism starts with the premise that each human being is created in the image of God. With such a lofty starting point, self-respect is therefore every human's birthright. Wealth was considered a clear sign of divine favour. The rich had an obligation to alleviate the sufferings of the poor. Poverty is an invention of satan that has been agreed with by religion. Material wealth is highly valued in the Torah the Hebrews seek it and God promises to bless them with it if they will follow his commandments. The law of first occurrence. 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. 4I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
