With the gracious blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan HILARION of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad and His Eminence Archbishop KYRILL of San Francisco and Western America, the Wonderworking and Myrrh-streaming Hawaiian Iveron Icon of the Mother of God will be returning to the East Coast for the first time in over a year, at the gracious invitation of the St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Cathedral in Washington, D.C. This wonderworking Icon (a paper copy of the Myrrhstreaming Montreal-Iveron Icon), in a span of just under three years, has healed, through the grace of God, a great many of spiritual and physical sufferings, including; cancer, blindness, kidney failure, demonic possession, and even certain death amongst several blessed individuals. The "Hawaiian" Iveron Icon, as She is known, will be on the East Coast from October 16 to November 7. The wonderworking Icon will then return to Her home chapel in Honolulu on November 8. The Icon s visit to the East Coast is to coincide with the 13 th Anniversary (Oct. 31, 2010) of the murder of Brother Jose Muñoz-Cortes, the slain Keeper of the Montreal Myrrhstreaming Iveron Icon of the Theotokos; as well as the celebration of the name s day of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad on Nov. 3, 2010. Troparion to the Myrrh-streaming Iveron Icon Tone 7 From thy holy icon, O Lady Theotokos, / blessed myrrh has flowed abundantly. / Thou hast thereby consoled those in exile faithful unto thee, / and hast enlightened the unbelievers by thy Son's light. / therefore, O Lady, with tears we bow down to thee. / Be merciful unto us in the hour of judgment. / Lest having received thy mercy, we be punished as those who have been contemptuous of it. //

But grant us through thy prayers to bring forth spiritual fruit and save us.
