Activity Highlights-What s Happening This Week? Drumming Circle- Join us for a fun and interactive drum circle led by trained HealthRhythms facilitator, Paula Wright. HealthRhythms is an evidence-based program for health promotion. Drum circles are a form of recreational musicmaking proven to reduce stress, boost the immune system, promote joy, a sense of well-being and to build community. All drums and percussion instruments provided. No musical experience required! If you have a heartbeat, you can drum. We will learn why families are important, how to search for your family tree as well as what a family tree looks like. (Tuesday at 1:00PM-Cinema Room) Tai Chi with Jack A form of exercise that is thousands of years old. Tai Chi rejuvenates and regenerates the mind and body, alleviates stress, and focuses on deep diaphragmatic breathing.
