Activity Highlights-What s Happening This Week? Drumming Circle- Join us for a fun and interactive drum circle led by trained HealthRhythms facilitator, Paula Wright. HealthRhythms is an evidence-based program for health promotion. Drum circles are a form of recreational musicmaking proven to reduce stress, boost the immune system, promote joy, a sense of well-being and to build community. All drums and percussion instruments provided. No musical experience required! If you have a heartbeat, you can drum. (Tuesday at 1:00PM-Main Street) Sing and Be Happy with Lynne Join us for an interactive music program with pianist and educator, Lynne Haeseler. We will learn why families are important, how to search for your family tree as well as what a family tree looks like. (Tuesday at 11:00AM-Cinema Room) Drive-in Movie Day Come watch Superman the movie...with a special guest. (Tuesday at 1:00PM-Cinema Room) Tai Chi with Jack A form of exercise that is thousands of years old. Tai Chi rejuvenates and regenerates the mind and body, alleviates stress, and focuses on deep diaphragmatic breathing. No other exercise is as well developed to assist in the process of aging gracefully.
