Saturday Morning Worship This Saturday, June 30, 11:00 A.M. All are welcome at Montreat Presbyterian C h u r c h ' s Saturday Morning Worship services. We meet in the Swannanoa Room in the Allen Building (304 Lookout Road, Montreat). Saturday services are held weekly through the end of July. Doors open at 10:30 A.M. for fellowship and light refreshments. Worship begins at 11:00 and lasts about 35 minutes. The service on Saturday, June 30 will include a service of holy communion. All are welcome! Communion will also be celebrated on July 7 & 28. A Service for Wholeness will be held on July 21. Summer Worship Series Sundays in 10:30 A.M. The Summer Worship Series in Anderson Auditorium extends through Sunday, August 5 with a wonderful line-up of distinguished preachers. Click here to see the preaching roster for the 2018 Summer Worship Series. Our pastor, Keith Grogg, works as a member of the worship team throughout the summer in crafting liturgy and leading worship. Our weekly services will return to Upper Anderson on Sunday, August 12. Note to Readers of "Community Announcements" Many of our readers also receive the Montreat Community Announcements, a weekly email publication of the Montreat Conference Center. Occasionally it may appear that our news is not included. In that case, if you scroll to the bottom of the page, you can click on "view entire

message," and additional items will appear. We are grateful to the Conference Center for sharing our weekly updates. It will look like this: Help for Victims of the Guatemala Volcano Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, an arm of One Great Hour of Sharing, is receiving contributions to provide assistance to victims of the Guatemala Volcano. The volcano is not in our sister presbyteries but it has impacted many and the need is critical. Checks can be written to Montreat Presbyterian Church with "Guatemala volcano relief" on the memo line. Find information here. Summer Contributions Contributions to MPC given during the summer services can be made out to Montreat Presbyterian Church and will be forwarded to us. Blue envelopes can be found on the MPC display in the Anderson lobby. You may also pick up envelopes from the church office for your use during the summer months. Contributions may always be mailed to PO Box 577, Montreat NC 28757. Kitty & Lyle Peterson Honored Lyle & Kitty Peterson were celebrated at Deerfield for their 75 years of marriage on June 16 with many church members in attendance.

Pastor's Summer Calendar In addition to office hours and all other regular pastoral activity, as well as an ambitious reading list, summer brings some new items to the schedule.
