St. Joseph Cemetery: We are continuing to make improvements on our cemetery and wanted to share with you our latest project. We have created two retaining walls in the back of the cemetery next to the building. This Spring we plan to add shrubbery around the walls. We have also spent considerable time and expense to create a parking area in the back, behind the building, for the grave diggers to park their equipment when unloading and loading. And we created a fill-dirt bin to make storing and using excess dirt easier to access. We would like to improve the exterior of the storage building by adding some facial brick or stone and possibly a new roof to make the building a little more attractive. Additionally, we have a dream of creating a Meditation/Prayer circle with benches and landscaping around the cross in the rear of the cemetery. We are deeply grateful for the contributions you have made in the past. If you would be able to assist or be interested in helping us in the future, we would be most appreciative. Penance Service: Bishop Medley will be joining us on Thursday, March 8 at 6:00 pm at St. Elizabeth to celebrate a Lenten Sacrament of Reconciliation Service. If you haven t been to confession in awhile, this would be a great opportunity. St. Paul School: March 18 at 2pm there will be a reunion for all St. Paul School Alumni. RSVP by March 11, 270-242-7483.
