December was a very busy month for us here in Belize. Here are the highlights: 1. Maya Mopan Homes: A team of 19 was here at the end of November and the beginning of December. They finished three homes while being poured on by the rain. The families built the walls of the house and the team came to finish each home. The three families that we built for are active members of LifeNet Church. Pics on the next page. 2. Ministry Needs: LifeNet Van. Still looking for a 15 passenger van and believing for the funds of about $7500US to pay for it. We have two vans that are at capacity on Sunday. 3. Building An Office: My current office is in my bedroom and this does not work for us anymore due to our church s growth. So in January we will build a small 12x12 wooden office in the back of our house to accommodate our growth and allow for better ministry to take place. 4. Land Issues: We are still seeking to buy land in Maya Mopan and land to build a church facility in Belmopan. I have discovered that this is a slow process. Please keep this in your prayers. Once we grow out of our current facility, there is not another meeting location here in the city large enough to accommodate us. Building our own facility is becoming a priority for us. 5. Financial Partners: We continue to raise funds for our budget in 2013. We have had many that receive our newsletter respond to our 2013 needs. For those that are receiving our newsletter and have not partnered with us financially, please PRAY about sowing into what God is doing here in Belize on a monthly basis. Support of $50, $100 a month truly does go a long way to help. At the end of this newsletter is more information on how to give. 6. Stats For 2012: We have seen over 62 salvations and 33 baptisms. Our average attendance in January of 2012 was 62 people and we are ending 2012 with an average attendance of 194. We have 9 NET Groups. We have grown by over 200% in 2012. 7. Goals For 2013: By the end of 2013, we plan to have 15 NET Groups, Lead 75 people to Jesus, baptize over 50 people and have an average attendance of 250 in Sunday Celebration. We also set a goal to take 25 people through our Leadership development implemented through our Nets. It s called the LLT which stands for: Life Leadership Training and prepares our leaders with in-depth instruction on doctrine, small group leadership and essentials in servant leadership. This is implemented relationally through our NETS. A Sunday Celebration @ LifeNet with over 200 people. [In the pic, Pastor Caleb, our National Leader, attended that Sunday]
8. Our Net Groups: Our NET Groups are growing, reaching out, discipling, and multiplying leaders. We have 4 new ones currently in the works. God is so good. It is so cool to work with a people so hungry to embrace God s vision for the church. They desire to be discipled and to disciple others. In December, here are a few of the outreaches our Nets carried out: a. One of our Nets attempted to feed the homeless in our city. b. Another Net helped a team give over 150 gift boxes to needy children in Maya Mopan. c. Two of our Nets had movie nights to attract the unchurched. 9. Ornament Outreach: On Sunday December 16 th, over 200 ornaments (see pic). One to keep and one to go out and bless someone who is unchurched and invite them to church. Everything we do as a church, we attempt to cause it to be outreach minded. 10. Food For The Needy: LifeNet collected food for needy families. We collected enough food to serve over 5 families during the Christmas season. 11. Christmas Dinner: Last year we had 92 people attend our Christmas dinner. This year we had somewhere between 230-260 people attend. Lots of food, dramas and special music. A young lady and I sang: Jesus Will Heal Your Heart with the music from Achy Breaky Heart. It was tons of fun. 12. Erika Birthday: She turned 6 years old on December 15 th. Look at the picture of her hitting the piñata. There is determination in her eyes. 13. Baptisms: We baptized 4 people in the month of December. 14. Prayer Need: It is highly important, in early 2013, that I hire a Belizean to work along-side me in ministry. My heart is to raise up a young couple and mentor them to co-lead or plant a church in the future. 15. Copier: God blessed the church with a copier. Someone generously donated funds that we could purchase the copier. Going out and making copies is a very time consuming task as well as expensive. This new copier is such a big blessing to us and the church. 16. Coming to the States: God has blessed us with some opportunities to come to the states. Robyn and I will be coming in February for a Mission s Conference in North Carolina. I will be flying to California in March for a Foursquare Cabinet meeting. I will serve a one year position of the cabinet of Foursquare as a representative of FMI. What a privilege to serve in this capacity. Then in May, our family will come to visit some of our partnering churches and go to the Foursquare Convention.

A fire destroyed the home of a family that attends LifeNet on the day after Christmas. This family that farms for a living, lost almost everything that they owned. Pedro accepted the Lord and was baptized about 6 months ago. They have 6 kids ranging from 2 years old to 15 years old. These are four of their children. LifeNet is helping to rebuild. Pray For this family. We hope to help rebuild their home, but it is a bit complicated. Pray that the donations coming, provides a long term solution to their housing needs.
