Pray for the fall athletes as they arrive and begin to practice. Pray for the marching band members as they begin practice for a busy season. Pray for the RAs, that they would have insight as to how to uniquely minister to the students on their halls. 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 Pray for the faculty and staff as the final preparations are made this week for the new academic year. Pray for the Orientation Board members as they shepherd the new students through the transition to college. Pray for the new students as they arrive on campus. Pray for them to begin making connections and feeling at ease in their new surroundings. Pray for the new students who are experiencing homesickness. 28 29 30 31 01 02 03 04 05 Pray for new students as they start classes today. Pray for returning students to adjust back into the rhythm of classes. NOTES Pray for the transfer students. Pray for the upperclassmen as they come back to campus.

Pray that they would connect with other students & begin to make friends. Pray for those students who have not connected with others and are lonely. Pray for the fall athletes as they seek to balance classes, practices, and relationships well. Pray that they would stay healthy and injury free. Pray for those students who have a parent suffering from a serious illness. 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 they face the first round of tests in their classes. Pray for President McNulty as he leads the College. who have come back to campus after losing a loved one in the past year. Pray that they would have friends to recognize their struggle and support them. 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 who are homesick and are struggling with the transition to college. to get plugged into a local church and to be committed to attending regularly. Pray for Campus Safety officers as they keep a vigilant watch on campus. Pray for the staff who serve across campus. Pray for renewed energy, focus, and vision. 25 26 27 28 29 30 01 who are facing a physical illness, injury, or disability. 02 03 Notes: who are experiencing roommate conflicts. Homecoming: Pray for students and alumni to enjoy the weekend on campus, reminiscing with new and old friends. Pray for the freshmen on the fall retreat--that they would develop friendships & allow the Lord to minister to them.

October 25 26 27 28 29 30 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 they take mid-term exams. they navigate the Career Fair today. Pray that good connections would be made and that some conversations might lead to jobs and internships. Pray for the faculty on campus. Pray for stamina as they prepare mid-term grades. 09 10 11 12 13 14 15 Pray for the health of students--physical, mental, and emotional. Pray for the Board of Trustees as they make decisions about the college and its future. 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 they receive their midterm grades and may face disappointment. Pray that fall break will be a time of refreshment for students. Fall Break 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 Fall Break Pray for the Residence Life staff as they care for and minister to students. 30 31 Pray for the winter athletes as they seek to balance classes, practices, and relationships well. Pray that they would stay healthy and injury free. Notes: who are struggling to find their place on campus. who struggle with anxiety. Pray that they would know God's peace.

Pray for the Student Life & Learning team as they care for students. to find true community and deep friendships. 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 struggling with eating disorders and negative body image. they prepare to go home for break--for safety and for rest. Pray for the ICO mission team serving in Providence, RI over Thanksgiving break. 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 Thanksgiving Break Thanksgiving Break 27 28 29 30 01 02 03 04 05 Notes: Stress levels begin to get high this time of year. Pray for students to manage their time well, to get good rest, and to prepare well for final papers and projects.

December 27 28 29 30 01 02 03 to make spending time with the Lord a priority in the midst of preparing for finals and writing papers. 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 they prepare for finals. Pray that peace would reign on campus in the midst of stress. Pray for the Student Life staff as they care for students at this stressful time of year. they prepare for finals. Pray for their well-being over the break. Study Day Pray for professors as they grade exams and papers, and then calculate semester grades. 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 Pray for all students, staff, and faculty to be reminded of the amazing gift of Jesus Christ and the freedom we each have because of and in Him. January 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 Pray for those students & faculty members traveling for intersession courses. 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 Pray for the ICO short-term mission teams that are traveling throughout the world over intersession to serve others. Pray for those students coming back to campus to take intersession classes. who made poor choices last semester--pray that this semester would be a fresh start. 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 Pray for the staff as they prepare for the new semester. Pray for the faculty as they prepare for the new semester. they travel back to campus this weekend and move in. 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 Pray for the transfer students who are joining the GCC community. Pray that they would feel welcomed and would find friends quickly. Classes Begin who are coming back to campus after experiencing painful situations over break. to renew and deepen their commitment to Christ this semester. Pray for the Bible studies on campus--that Truth is being taught and spoken, students are growing in their faith, and students who don't know the Lord are coming into relationship with Him. 29 30 31 01 02 03 04 Pray for the women who are going through Greek Unity Week--that it would be a time of encouragement and unity. 05 06 Notes: Pray for those women who did not get a bid from a sorority. Pray that they would find their place and a strong support system on campus.

February 29 30 31 01 02 03 04 Pray for all women on campus to find their true identity in Christ and to grow into godly women of faith during their time at GCC. Pray for the Grounds Crew and Housekeepers as they keep the campus safe during winter weather. Pray for student leaders on campus-- that they lead with wisdom and integrity. 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 Pray for the men who are going through the Greek Unity Week--that it would be a time of encouragement and unity. Pray for all men on campus to be formed into men of God and develop Biblical leadership skills during their time on campus. Pray for the ministry groupsthat they would reach many on and off campus, and students would grow in their faith through their involvement. 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 Pray for conversations occurring this week around the topic of idols and things that distract us from God. Pray for wisdom for the speakers. Pray that students would be encouraged in their relationship with God and would seek to make it a priority above all else. Pray for Campus Safety officers as they keep a vigilant watch on campus. Pray for President McNulty and the Board of Trustees as they oversee the operation of the college and are charged with making decisions to ensure its success. 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 who are experiencing difficult family situations. struggling with depression and mental health issues. 26 27 28 01 02 03 04 Pray for the Residence Life staff as they care for and minister to students. 05 06 Notes: they take mid-term exams.

March 26 27 28 01 02 03 04 Pray for the Admissions Office staff as they make final decisions about the new freshman class. Pray for ICO mission teams as they go out to serve in areas throughout the country and world. 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 Spring Break Spring Break 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 Spring Break who are struggling academically. Pray for the spring athletes as they seek to balance classes, practices, and relationships well. Pray that they would stay healthy and injury free. 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 who are making difficult decisions about possibly not coming back to the College in the fall. Pray for seniors who are making decisions about graduate school. who are getting anxious about their summer plans. 26 27 28 29 30 31 01 who feel lonely and like outsiders on campus. 02 03 Notes: Pray for those students who do not know Christ as Lord. Pray that they would come to know Him personally. they approach room draw. This can be a stressful time as they select roommates and their rooms for next year.

April 26 27 28 29 30 31 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 Pray for seniors who don't have a job lined up and are getting anxious about the future. to find moments to enjoy time with the Lord. As the spring semester gets busy, this time is often the first to get pushed aside. 09 10 11 12 13 14 15 Pray for the staff and faculty as they continue to invest in the students. Pray that all students, staff, and faculty would take time over break to reflect on the sacrifice Christ made for all of us so that we might have eternal life and relationship with Him. Easter Break 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 Easter Break who struggle with anxiety. Pray that they would know God's peace. to have wisdom, rooted in God's truth. 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 who will be serving overseas as short-term missionaries this summer. 30 01 Notes: Pray for the seniors as they have less than one month of college left and are beginning to have mixed emotions about ending their college career. who do not know Christ. Pray that they might encounter Him and come into relationship with Him.

May 30 01 02 03 04 05 06 who cannot be with their families this weekend due to loss. Pray that they would be comforted. Pray for families to enjoy their time together on campus this weekend. 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 to make spending time with the Lord a priority in the midst of preparing for finals and writing papers. Pray for God's peace over the campus and the student body as anxiety and stress levels rise. Study Day they take final exams. Pray for peace in the midst of stress. 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 who are going home to situations that are not healthy. Pray for their well-being over the summer. Pray for the underclassmen as they leave campus for the summer. Pray that they have summers that bring personal and spiritual growth. Pray for the seniors as they approach commencement. Pray for those experiencing anxiety about the future and those who still don't have jobs. Pray for tonight s Baccalaureate Service, the Class of s final worship together. 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 and faculty members who will be abroad during May intersession. 28 29 30 31 01 02 03 Family Weekend Pray for the students and families as they celebrate commenceement today. 04 05 Notes:
