CHRISTMAS IN APRIL This is a Calvert County non-profit organization that repairs and improves the homes of low-income homeowners, the elderly, those who are disabled and families with children at no cost to the homeowners. Grace Brethren is a sponsoring church for this organization. CLEANING TEAMS Responsible for ensuring that the church is clean and tidy for each week s Sunday services. THE GATHERING A ministry for young married couples (20-30 something's) to get together and build relationships through planned activities through the year (game nights, bowling, dinner out). We would love to have you join us. Contact Renee Murphy (renee060@comcast.net) GRACE COMFORTS A group of ladies who provide a service of love to people in our church and community by making blankets, shawls, and/or hats to bring comfort and encouragement to the sick, the need, to newborn babies and others. HOME CARE MINISTRY To exemplify the love of Christ by sending volunteer church members to help make repairs in homes of those who cannot facilitate them on their own. HOSPITALITY TEAM To serve families who are mourning the loss of a loved one by providing a luncheon at the church after the funeral and to provide meals for someone who has had surgery, chemo, etc. so they will have a meal when they are not up to cooking. MILITARY MINISTRY To show care and appreciation to our military families, both active duty and veterans, and to help them grow in their walk with Christ. MISSIONS / OUTREACH We are committed to both local and global outreach with the hope of involving every person in the church in making disciples of the peoples of our world. MOM S MORNING OUT To provide parents of young children the opportunity to have a weekly break while their children are in a safe and loving environment. MOYA - Mother's of Young Adults To build a network of moms that can support and encourage each other in the Lord with children that are senior in high school up to young adults. Our mission is to be a light to other mom's in our community that are struggling with entering into a new season of life with adult children. Contact Ron & Betty Hunter (bjhunter747@gmail.com) OUR LITTLE ANGELS We collect new and gently used toys, books, games and music and give them to 5 area homeless shelters at Easter and Christmas. SAFE NIGHTS Providing warm shelter and food to the homeless of Calvert County for a one-week period each year. TECHNOLOGY After careful planning and preparation the audio and visual needs are set up each week to amplify what is happening on the platform, from the opening announcement through the Pastor s closing prayer. Contact Paul Butz (pmbbeach@comcast.net) WOMEN S MINISTRY The women's ministry exits to challenge and equip women to passionately pursue God and His purpose for their lives. It is our desire for women to be deeply rooted in the Word of God through Biblical teaching and authentic, grace filled community. Each of our Bible studies, ministries and special events provides opportunities to grow spiritually, find encouragement, and connect with one another so that you will be strengthened to serve in your home, your job, and your community. To help them move along in their journey with Christ and develop relationships with fellow Christian student peers. Middle School meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:45-8:15pm.
