THE FEAST DAY OF ALL SOULS/BOOK OF THE DEAD On Friday, November 2, our parish will celebrate our Feast Day with Masses at 6:30am and a Special Mass at 6:30pm honoring all Parishioners who have died; especially those who have died this year. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be offered beginning after the 6:30am Mass, throughout the day, until the beginning of the 6:30pm Mass. Sign Up Sheets are located in the back of church. We need to fill 12 hours of Adoration to Commemorate our Feast Day & remember our beloved dead in Christ; please sign up for your hour. Throughout the months of October and November, a Book of the Dead will be found in the Baptistery in back of church. Please enter the names of your beloved deceased family and friends. At our Masses on November 2nd, as well as all through the month of November, we will pray for those entered in the book and we ask that you too remember them in your personal prayers. FERDINAND FREE THANKSGIVING DINNER Thursday, Nov. 22nd ~ Thanksgiving Day In-house dining - 11:30am - 1:30pm Take Out - 11:30am - 2pm (Or until food runs out) The St. Ferdinand Thanksgiving Diner is a organization made up of volunteers from St. Ferdinand and other area churches working together to provide a Free Thanksgiving Dinner We rely on volunteers to host. If you can help out, please go to: http://www.stferdinandstl.org/ and click on turkey dinner. A variety of jobs are available for sign-up. We are also solely dependant on donations from local businesses & individuals to purchase the food that is served. Our dinner grows each year as does the need in the community. We appreciate any donation that you are able to make.
