2 Corinthians 5:18-20 The Ambassadors- Monthly News and Events December, 2015 Volume 22 Issue 12 DROP YOUR SHIELD OF GUILT, MERCY IS CALLING YOU By: Jessica Mendez My beloved sons, indeed you have been called by God. Others were also called but blessed are you, for you responded to my call. My sons, there is no greater love than to lay one s life down for a friend. My sons, my son your Lord, our Lord and savior has laid down his life for each one of you. Not one of you has been forgotten. Not one of you need miss out on this gift of eternity my son is offering you today. Today should be a day of exaltation for you have found answers to your questions. My sons you have been deemed worthy by my son s blood, soul, and divinity, so accept it with no reservation for God s mercy has been sent to set you free from what this world would say: that you are not worthy. My sons God wants to reach down into your heart to pull those things out that keep you from Him. My little children come to me as children. Bring to me all of your concerns. Let them not trouble your heart, for in the end your only concern should be if you loved. My sons a great prophet has been sent to the world to remind the world that God exists; that God the Almighty omnipotent powerful and Loving Father has your best interest in his heart. You must ask for the grace of trust, and you must learn to trust the Great I Am for He alone can and will save humanity if they choose. Today I ask that question: Do you choose God today? Do you say yes to Him today as the one, the only one, who can take care of the most difficult of tasks? For you it is impossible, but to God nothing is impossible. Thank you, my sons, for being here today. Thank you for responding to my call! Message from the Queen of Mercy, Nov. 7, 2015 Because everything in our society must be earned, it is easy to forget that we never did anything to earn mercy which in turn causes us to pick and choose who we should show mercy to. However, we are all called to be disciples of mercy and reconcile others to God. How many times have I decided that a particular person has hurt me too many times and no longer deserves my kindness? Yet, I have also sinned against God in the same way over and over and over, but he never turns me away when I am ready to repent again: for scripture says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged. (John 3:16-18) Mercy is love and forgiveness in action, and according to my kids that means giving someone a second chance, even if they don t deserve it. When we choose to show mercy, we truly lay our life down as we are called to let go of our expectations, our wants, our needs, our desires, our entitlement, our need to be right and especially our pride in order to allow God to love others through us. Last month, I wrote about strategy. I did that because God put it in my heart that we are to strategize and seek ways to show mercy and to bring reconciliation between God and His children. We are all called to be disciples of mercy. Yes! You are also called to be a disciple of mercy! All of heaven is awaiting your response. They are anxiously awaiting your response, just like when we post something on Facebook and wait to see if someone is going to like or comment. They are waiting. On October 14, 2011, Mama said, My beloveds, my precious Ambassadors, I wish that you would accept the calling that has been entrusted to you. Believe without looking back. Move forward without regret. If you have offended someone, seek to restore what has been stolen by your offense. If you have stepped off the path, step back on. If you think you are not worthy of the calling, look to Peter for his intercession and know he was there. There is a footnote to this message and in the footnote, the Blessed Mother told Mary, I am washing away many fears that bring your soul to doubt in our love for you. This one ingredient to the sickness of your soul has infused into your kidneys. Another ingredient is guilt. Guilt puts up a shield to stop God s love, the [Holy Spirit s] love, my Son s love and my love. My daughter, put down your shield of guilt and allow the healing love of God to infuse all of your being. So why did I go from writing about withholding mercy from others to putting up a wall of guilt? It is because if we have not truly accepted God s mercy and love, then we will not be able to see how much God loves and shows mercy to others. Our guilt Article continued on page 2

December, 2015 Page 2 Article continued from page 1 and shame of what we have done in the past, or in the present, causes us to withhold mercy, to withhold His love. As we learn to accept His love and mercy for us, we, in turn, will be ready to share love and mercy with others. As I am writing this, the Lord is bringing to my mind how difficult it is for me to receive His forgiveness. The Lord has brought to me that every time He reveals to me a sin that I have committed, I immediately question Him, How can you love me? How can someone like me have your favor? I have not yet been able to fully accept the love He has shown me. Because of this, I have turned myself and my sinfulness into an idol. Gasp! An idol?! Yes, because I have focused more on how sinful I am, instead of focusing on how merciful God is. I may be the only person on the planet that has this struggle, but, I highly doubt it. As I learn to put down my shield of guilt, God in His great mercy, can come in and infuse my entire being with His healing love, thus empowering me to go out and allow Him to do the same to others through me. My brothers and sisters, Helen Keller once said, Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through [the] experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened. We can t show mercy without being put to the test. Now is the time to strategize. It is time to begin anew and plan to show mercy. Plan to receive mercy. My husband and I have been living here at the ministry for five years now and it has been through the trials and constant pruning that we are now learning what God has called us to do, SHOW MERCY! Ephesians 4:1-6 says, I plead with you then, as a prisoner for the Lord, to live a life worthy of the calling you have received with perfect humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another lovingly. Make every effort to preserve the unity which has the Spirit as its origin and peace as its binding force. There is but one body and one Spirit juts as there is but one hope given all of you by your call. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all, and works through all and is in all. As we answer this call to mercy, our lives become a testimony of hope for others to see God s great victory over sin in our lives. What guilt are you carrying that has not allowed God s healing love to infuse all of your being? What shield are you carrying? The shield of righteousness or of guilt? What is your response to Mercy s call? Will you answer? As Mama asked, Do you choose God today? Do you say yes to him today as the one, the only one, who can take care of the most difficult tasks? My dear brothers and sisters, in Christ, if you are ready to answer the call, I invite you to attend our upcoming retreat. What better gift than to come and be strengthened and renewed? Come and allow God to show you the power of His great mercy and empower you to go forth and take His mercy to all that you encounter. Thank you so much for taking time to read these words. Thank you for all of your prayers and support during our five years at this ministry. I pray that the Lord will bless us with many, many more. Merry Christmas from all of us here at AFM!!! May the Blessed Mother cover you in her mantle and shield you from the stains of guilt that do not allow you to accept God s healing love. Until our eyes meet again, God Bless you all!!! DISCIPLES OF MERCY (According to the Queen of Mercy on February 12, 2005) [You will be] in the front line, Being persecuted, Being the first to forgive, Being the last to ask. You will be despised and envied, for God will be with you. You will be among the poorest of the poor asking for the graces of God. Here in this world there will be no honor until you reach paradise that is promised to you today. You will be set aside like the broom that is useless, but in the kingdom of God your voice will be heard above the angels on high. DISCIPLES OF MERCY, UNITE!

December, 2015 Page 4 COURAGE Courage: the ability to face danger, difficulty, uncertainty, or pain without being overcome by fear or being deflected from a chosen course of action. As we enter the season of Christmas let us remember that the courage that Saint Joseph and the Blessed Mother had to follow through with the mission they were called to came from the grace of courage. Let us reflect and ask God for the courage to follow His will everyday. My dear children, thank you for being here tonight. I prayed for you all today that you would have the strength and courage to be here. I know that many of you had many trials today. Be strong, my children. My Son needs you. Pray for strength and perseverance. You have been called to continue the work which He started here on earth. May 9, 1988 My children follow the Commandments of our Lord and receive the graces offered by frequent reception of Holy Communion and receive the strength and courage you need by regular attendance of the Sacrament of reconciliation. October 3, 1988 I thank you for responding to my call. Today you are given the grace of faith. Today you can choose to pick up this grace or leave it behind. This weekend is real! I am here ready to embrace you and carry you, ready to help you carry the cross of my son. Do not despair for your sins. Confess them and turn away from them. Repent and you will find peace and joy once again. My sons, I am speaking to your hearts, to your souls that need healing, that need courage and strength to do the will of God. February 14, 2004 I will give you the courage to see where you can love with no limits. See through your eyes with innocence of [their] sin and no offense of the offender. Look at all of your persecutions as challenges to love beyond you. February 28, 2006 My beloved sons, keep up your courage and hope in my Son and what he can do for you and your family. I am ready for many of you to take a stand against temptations of sin, for I am standing with you. I will shield you as my sons. January 13, 2007 My sons it takes courage to pray for the heart of God: and I will bring it to you and prepare you for this grace. I will rout out the root of fear so that you may not fear the night of the soul. January 25, 2014 The Ambassadors of the Flame of Mercy Weekday P.O. December, 2015 The Ambassadors Page 5 Life in the Living Word Retreat Quote from the Queen of Mercy: My children, I want you to know my Son, to know His life and His works when He was on earth. My dear children read about His life in the Gospels. Study His life, follow His examples and know Him. For how can you say He is your Lord and Savior if you don't know Him? September 19, 1988 Have trouble reading and understanding the Word of God? Come learn without fear! How does the Word build up my faith? Changing reading the scriptures to studying the scriptures. Is the Eucharist really the Word that became flesh? How do the messages of our Blessed Mother relate to God s Word? How does the word of God apply in my life? How do I need to act according to God s will? How do I have hope in time of distress? How do I get out of depression? Receiving the grace to continue to reading the Word of God after the retreat is over!
