Geography Presentations In 7th November Virtue: Courtesy What does a triathlon have to do with the Communion of Saints? Fr. Mike Schmitz draws parallels between his experience of completing a triathlon and the believer s experience of journeying to heaven. In our spiritual race, those who have gone before us are encouraging us at every turn. Fr. Mike reminds us that if we find ourselves struggling in this journey, we should remember that we are surrounded by a cloud of witnesses that is more impressive than a stadium filled with sports fans. The All Saints MOPS group is always looking for volunteers to assist with childcare during their bi-monthly meetings. You can help at one meeting or as many as you d like. The meetings are from 9:00-10:45 a.m. at St. John Neumann Parish every other Friday. If you are interested please email mops@allsaintscs.com. Our 7th graders have worked hard to become experts on the human and physical geography of Europe! Each student prepared a detailed research report on a country of their choosing. Just as we are all unique children of God, each student s project reflected their own personal creativity. Posters, slide shows, brochures, short films, and various foods were part of these fantastic projects. Way to go seventh graders! Keep up the outstanding work in social studies! Parents In Prayer All parents, grandparents, and friends of All Saints Catholic School are welcomed to join together for a time of prayer. We meet on the second and fourth Fridays of the month from 8:10 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. in the school chapel. Our time will include praying for our students, parents/ families, staff and school community. We will use various forms of prayer throughout the year, but we will always conclude by praying the rosary. Young children are welcomed and encouraged to join us. If you are unable to join us but would like to send in your prayer intentions, email them to our campus minister, Mary Ann Jenkins at mjenkins@allsaintscs.com.
