How could He do this? Only by changing this man s life completely! Write out the Key Verse. This man was a young Jew called Saul. (Later his name was changed to Paul.) He firmly believed that he was pleasing God by bullying (or persecuting) the followers of the Lord Jesus. The Jewish leaders gave him permission to arrest and imprison the Christians. Write on the sign the name of the city to which he was going, and write underneath why he was going there. When Saul was nearly at his destination something happened. Answer TRUE or FALSE:- Saul turned back. Saul saw a light from Heaven flash around him. Saul fell to the ground and heard a voice. Saul fainted. Complete the word which the Lord Jesus used to describe the way Saul was treating Him. P E R 4 Bibletime

Jesus is Alive Why do adults spend so much time reading the newspaper, watching or listening to the news? It s because they want to know the important things that are going on in the world. Newspapers and television are just two ways by which news spreads quickly. Another way is through the internet. Saul, now known as Paul, (see Acts : 9) and Barnabas had some really exciting news to tell. It is called the Gospel (Good News about the Lord Jesus). If they wrote a newspaper what would the headline be? Fill in the missing letters (a, e, i, o, u) to find out. B _ l v n J _ s _ s _ n d y w _ l l b _ s _ v _ d. Where had Paul been preaching? Write out the Key Verse to discover what happened when Paul and Barnabas preached the Good News about Jesus. As often happens today, people in that city were divided in their response to the Gospel. Isn t it sad to think that the unbelieving Jews tried, like Elymas in our last lesson, to keep others from believing too? See verse 50 and write IN YOUR OWN WORDS the three things the Jews did.... What did Paul and Barnabas do? Underline the correct answer. Shook hands Threw stones at the Jews Shook the dust from their feet Where did they go? Write your answer on the signpost.
