THE CHURCH AT QUAIL CREEK MARCH 13, 2016 Savior PRAYERS OF THE PART II

PRAYERS OF THE SAVIOR PART 2 JOHN 17:6-19 THE THREE PRAYERS FOR THE DISCIPLES That they might be 2 Thessalonians 3:1-5 That they might be Romans 15:7-13 That they might be 1 Thessalonians 5:16-28 Text Your Gift To The Church at Quail Creek 391-7171

CHILDREN AND YOUTH ARE IMPORTANT TO JESUS AND TO QUAIL CREEK Psalm 127:3 says, Children are indeed a heritage from the Lord, they are a reward. Matthew 19:13-15 says, Then children were brought to Him so He might put His hands on them and pray. But the disciples rebuked them, then Jesus said, Leave the children alone, and don t try to keep them from coming to Me, because the kingdom of heaven is made up of people like this, after putting His hands on them, He went on from there. Throughout scripture, we see the importance of children in the life and ministry of Jesus. They were and still are important to Jesus, and because of the love that Jesus has for children, they have a very special place at the church. We believe in providing the very BEST when it comes to our preschool, children and youth ministries. I believe we provide the very BEST in leadership. Tana, Leslie, Brian and all who serve in the preschool, children, and youth ministries are the BEST. I appreciate them so much. I believe we have the BEST parents, grandparents, and great grandparents of the children and youth who attend Quail Creek. As parents, I know that you want and expect the BEST education possible for your children. You should expect the same, if not more so, for your child s Christian education as well. That is our goal for every child and young person who attends Quail Creek, that we provide the very BEST. Here are some ways that you can help us to provide the BEST experience possible for your child at the church. Encourage your child to bring their Bible to church. If you need a good Bible for children or youth, ask Tana and Brian which Bible would be a good translation. Get to know those who serve in the preschool, children, and youth ministries. Be on time. Teaching begins when the first child enters the room at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday morning and at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday nights. If your child is 10 minutes late, they miss an important part of the lesson that has been prepared. Your child s teacher has spent several hours preparing for your child s learning experience. Lastly, get involved in your child s learning experience. Volunteers are needed in the preschool, children and youth ministries. Help us to provide the very BEST possible learning experience for your child. Dale Moreland Associate Pastor
