C h u r c h L i f e U p d a t e s Blood Drive: Today (Sept. 20) Calvary is hosting a blood drive from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM which is located downstairs in Room 119. Speedy Chef hotdogs will be served to donors. Please consider donating the gift of life today in honor or memory of someone. Business Meeting: Tonight at 6:00 PM in the chapel, we will hold our regular business meeting. Items on the agenda include a proposed list of committee and team members for 2015-16. Appliances Up For Bid: Today is the last day to place your bids for used appliances from our kitchen: two stoves, two exhaust hoods, a double oven, a microwave, and fluorescent light fixtures. On Monday, September 21, the items will be sold to the highest bidder. All proceeds will support our renovation effort. Unsold items will be donated to a local charity for families in need. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Alex or a Buildings and Grounds Team member. Missing A Coat?: A few coats left at church over the past year or so are hanging in the church office. If you are missing a coat, please come by to claim it by Friday, September 25. Unclaimed coats will be donated to a local charity on Monday, September 28. Bake Sale: B.Y.W. will sponsor a bake sale next Sunday (Sept. 27) from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM to raise money for our church team, Calvary s Caring Crusaders, in the Relay for Life of Mount Airy. Calvary's Caring Crusaders: Our church team will walk in the Relay for Life on October 2, at 6 PM at Veterans Memorial Park. If you would like to join the team (or donate), forms are on the table outside our nursery. Luminaries are $10 each (or 3 for $25) in honor/memory of a loved one. The deadline is September 27.
