The Lord s Day September 27, 2015 I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the RICHES OF HIS GLORIOUS INHERITANCE IN THE SAINTS. - Ephesians 1:16-18 Coming Before the Lord Prelude Welcome & Visitor Information Please sign and pass the Friendship Register Opening Music Solid Rock -Choir *Call to Worship Psalm 117 Praise the Lord, all nations! Extol him, all peoples! For great is his steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord! *Hymn of Approach - No. 173 Victory in Jesus I heard an old, old story, how a Savior came from glory, how He gave His life on Calvary to save a wretch like me. I heard about His groaning, of His precious blood's atoning, then I repented of my sins and won the victory. O victory in Jesus, my Savior forever! He sought me and bought me with His redeeming blood. He loved me ere I knew Him, and all my love is due Him. He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood. I heard about His healing, of His cleansing power revealing, how He made the lame to walk again and caused the blind to see. And then I cried, "Dear Jesus, come and heal my broken spirit," and somehow Jesus came and brought to me the victory. O victory in Jesus, my Savior forever! He sought me and bought me with His redeeming blood. He loved me ere I knew Him, and all my love is due Him. He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood. (Next Page)

I heard about a mansion He has built for me in glory, and I heard about the streets of gold beyond the crystal sea; about the angels singing, and the old redemption story; and some sweet day I'll sing up there the song of victory. O victory in Jesus, my Savior forever! He sought me and bought me with His redeeming blood. He loved me ere I knew Him, and all my love is due Him. He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood. Prayer of Adoration and Confession Assurance of Pardon (see 2 Timothy 1:13) Psalm 103:8-12 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. He will not always chide, nor will he keep his anger forever. He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. Proclaiming What We Believe *Affirmation of Faith Apostle s Creed (In front cover of hymnal) *Hymn of Faith On Jordan s Stormy Banks I Stand (Ushers come forward on last verse) On Jordan's stormy banks I stand And cast a wishful eye To Canaan's fair and happy land Where my possessions lie All o'er those wide extended plains Shines one eternal day There God, the Son forever reigns And scatters night away No chilling wind nor poisonous breath Can reach that healthful shore Where sickness, sorrow, pain and death Are felt and feared no more

When shall I see that happy place And be forever blessed When shall I see my Father's face And in His bosom rest Prayer of Dedication & Presentation of Our Tithes & Offerings Offertory (see 2 Corinthians 9:6-7) I Will Rise -Molly Moore & Ella Moore *Doxology - No. 731 Praise God from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below: Praise Him above, ye heav nly host: Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen. Listening To God Speak Pastoral Prayer & The Lord s Prayer Our Father, which art in heaven; Hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: for Thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
