LOVE GROW SERVE SHARE Children Infants-6th Grade Bring a basket to collect eggs! APRIL 2018 Sunday, April 1 After the 11:00 a.m. Service in the Recreation Area Everlasting Choir Celebration April 30-May 1 Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church Everlasting Choir Celebration is an opportunity for Boomer and Senior Adult Choirs to come together for rehearsal with a qualified choral director and to encourage and network with other Senior Adults. We need volunteers to host, greet and serve refreshments. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Donnie Stribble at 972.857.9777, X5105 or Terry Finley at X5114.

Craig Christina Senior Pastor Dear Church Family... April is one of the stormiest months on record for North Texas. Historically, more tornados occur in our area during the months of April and May than any other months. The reason is cold air from the north clashing with warm, moist air from the south and the Gulf of Mexico. Add in a low pressure system or dry line, and severe storms are the result. What is the smartest way to deal with the unwanted reality of severe storms? First, have a place to find shelter. Second, prepare the shelter with a little food, bottles of water, shoes and flashlight ahead of time. Third, tell those you love about the plan. Spiritual storms also impact our lives. How should we deal with them? First, find shelter in your relationship with Christ. Second, nurture the relationship before the storm hits through small group Bible study, prayer, Sunday worship, and Christian friendships. Third, tell others around you how to be anchored to Christ. In Luke 8:24-25, when the disciples were caught in a storm, it says that Jesus 24 got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. 25 Where is your faith? he asked his disciples. I honestly hope we dodge severe storms this spring atmospherically and spiritually. But if not, let s prepare our faith ahead of time by staying connected to Him.
