The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Rose & Graham Funeral Home chapel in Coats by the Rev. Roland Byrd. Burial will be in St. Mary's Grove Baptist Church cemetery in Benson. Mr. Hargis is survived by two daughters, Sharlon Johnson of Fuquay-Varina and Gail Smith of Coats; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home. Dollie Ruth Dupree Hargis 01/15/2003 Dollie Dupree Hargis, 81, of Willow Spring died Monday. She was an active member of New Hope Presbyterian Church until she suffered a decline in health. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lawrence Hargis Sr.; brothers, Ervin and Haywood Dupree; a sister, Annie Dupree Dean; and a granddaughter, Angela Mashburn McLean. He owned and operated Langdon's Garage. Mr. Langdon was a member of Barbourtown Church of God and served in the National Guard. He was a man of God and loved his family and friends. Surviving: his loving wife of 59 years, Dolly Dupree Hargis; sons Paul of the home, W.L. and wife Pat of Fuquay-Varina, Donnie and wife Debbie of Angier and daughter, Pansy H.
