VERONA ONEIDA CASTLE VERNON MARCH - APRIL 2018 Newsletter! www.threevoicespresbyterian.org As I sit to write the Pastor letter for this newsletter, I am reminded of beautiful scripture from Isaiah 55:10-11 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Spring brings forth so many of God s promises revealed in the newness of life that at times may have seemed difficult to see or envision when our focus was on the snow and not on God. When we focus on the blessings of God, we can see sunny skies and beautiful blooms even if they are covered in snow. Even more important, God s gift of spring brings forth the greatest promise of all Jesus is The Resurrection and the Life. All who believes in him will live. What joy.. Easter affirms that death is not the end. That life is eternal. And God loves us! Jesus experience proves God s ever-present and all-encompassing Love for all of us. I have seen God s love revealed to the Three Voices in very special ways over these past two years. Truly our congregations have been blessed in many ways. I too have been blessed to have had the opportunity to serve God through my ministry to you. But now God is asking me to do more. I don t always understand why or more times than not, how, but I have the faith that God knows what is best for the Three Voices, Boonville First Presbyterian Church, me and my family as I embrace the new ministry ahead of me. Thank you all for the love, support and encouragement you have continuously given me. Who knows what God s plans may be for each of us in the future. Perhaps we will be together again somewhere down the road if that is His plan. May God richly bless you all!!!! Pastor Mike
