The Right Seed Part X. Genesis 1:1 Now the LORD had said to Abram: "Get out of your country, from your family and from your father's house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. (Vs in the Amp.) And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others]. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." 4 So Abram departed as the LORD had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. A. God was looking for someone to operate through. B. To be legal on the earth, you need an earth suit. 1. He created man with an earth suite (a body).. God is a spirit.. The plan was for God to inhabit man and gain legal entry into the earth. C. God wants to bless the world, but He needs an obedient vessel to flow through. 1. When God blesses you, it is not going to arrive as a package from heaven.. God instructs obedient men to pour blessings into your life.. Our mandate is to spread the blessing all over the earth. 4. We all have the heavenly calling of being blessing administrators. 5. God loves the world not just the Christians! 6. The church is the only body the Lord has! 7. God selected Abraham to be the one through whom the world s blessing would be initiated. 8. It takes quite a sum of wealth to bless nations! 9. When the Head issues an instruction, the Body needs to respond! 10. It is all the Lord s money! Let Him decide how to spend it. 11. Whether or not you feel like it is irrelevant.
1. The head is supposed to make the decisions, not the body parts! 1. God needs to be able to trust you to not hoard everything for yourself. 14. Obedient humans are the only channels through which God can flow. D. Vs 4: Abram obeyed by leaving Haran as God had instructed him. 1. It took faith to leave daddy s house!. This first step of obedience launched the blessing for Abram.. Abram left Haran with nothing, but watch what happens. XI. Genesis 1:1 Then Abram went up from Egypt, he and his wife and all that he had, and Lot with him, to the South. Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold. A. Blessing administrators were never meant to struggle! B. God s plan for you includes all the resources to fulfill it! C. Wrong turns will cost you! Listen to the navigator. D. Your blessing of all things is waiting on the other side of obedience. E. Something is created every time God speaks. F. God will tell you which bank has your money. G. We are supposed to rule and reign and kings. H. God s people perish for lack of knowledge, not money. I. The Holy Spirit is always with us, so there is no excuse to not consult with Him. J. When the rapture occurs, Jesus will take the Holy Spirit out of the earth. 1. God will never leave you nor forsake you, so you get to ride along!. We are attached to the Holy Spirit; when He leaves, we leave.. The Holy Spirit has knit together the body of Christ. 4. As one entire body, we will be connected to the Head, which is Christ. 5. It is necessary for the Holy Spirit to leave the earth before the Antichrist can come to power. 6. The Holy Spirit is the restrainer because Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. 7. He that is in the world refers to the Antichrist.
8. If He who is in me is greater than the Antichrist, we are going to have to check out of here in order for the Antichrist to have his way. 9. This is why weapons cannot prosper against you! 10. You are more than a conqueror because of who is in you. 11. The Antichrist cannot succeed in his attempts to remove you from the earth. 1. In Christ Jesus, we always triumph! 1. God will remove us when he is good and ready! 1. It is necessary for the restrainer to be removed before the Antichrist can get on with his agenda. K. Pray and obey because every failure is preceded by an obedience failure. 1. The devil tries to keep you from sowing your seed, because until that seed dies, you are not going to see the harvest that was hidden within.. The government is trying to convince us that we need to spend more.. The recession had caused people to pull back the reigns of their spending. 4. All these plans the government propagates are to get us to spend more. 5. They know the money has got to flow. 6. When the media broadcasted the recession, giving in the church declined. 7. The spirit of fear started to control the Christians. 8. When you stop the flow, you stop the increase. 9. Christians should be giving more this year than last year. 10. He will never leave us nor forsake us. 11. Forsake is referring to troubled times. 1. Money is NOT your security in troubled times. 1. When water flows through a pipe, the pipe gets wet, too! 14. If it flows through you, it will stick to you. XII. Deuteronomy 8:1 "Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God: 4
Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. Skip to Vs 1 - The LORD will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. A. Vs 1: If is the condition that you obey the voice of God. B. God has not given us the spirit of fear, so don t be led by fear. XIII. Genesis 6:1 There was a famine in the land, besides the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines, in Gerar. Then the LORD appeared to him and said: "Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I shall tell you. Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father. 4 And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed; 5 because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws." 6 So Isaac dwelt in Gerar. Skip to Vs 8 Now it came to pass, when he had been there a long time, that Abimelech king of the Philistines looked through a window, and saw, and there was Isaac, showing endearment to Rebekah his wife. Skip to Vs 1 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the LORD blessed him. 1 The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous. 14 for he had possessions of flocks and possessions of herds and a great number of servants. So the Philistines envied him. A. Vs : God s instruction was to stay there in Gerar, the land of the Philistines. B. God was about to perform a wealth transfer. C. God spoke covenant words as a guarantee that this was going to come to pass. 1. God swore the oath by His own name because there was none higher.. This oath applies to us today through the blood of Jesus. D. God is leading His people in these days to take possession of lands. E. God needs a river, not a dam! 5
F. Vs 5: The blessing was passed down to Isaac because Abraham had obeyed. G. Vs 6: Isaac dwelt in Gerar (obedience to God s instruction). H. Vs 8: A long time passed, but still no blessing. 1. He was in the right place at the right time, but something was missing.. Isaac had not yet sown seed.. Seed makes your faith complete. I. Vs 1: Isaac kept sowing portions of his harvest to continue the blessing cycle. 1. The harvest came in the same year as the seedtime. a. This was an unusual occurrence based on the Jewish calendar. b. God miraculously compressed the growth time of the seed.. Abraham first met God as Elohim, the creator of the laws.. Initially, the prospect of having a child was difficult for Abraham and Sarah to fathom because they only knew God as the lawmaker. 4. God had to reveal Himself to them as El Shaddai. a. In their minds, it was like going from Clark Kent to Superman! b. El Shaddai is the one who reserves the right to reverse, override, prolong, or accelerate every law He created. c. Accelerate is exactly what El Shaddai did for Isaac s harvest! d. Isaac obtained a quick harvest in the middle of a famine. 5. Because it was a famine, no one else was planting. 6. Isaac was the only one who had any food a lucrative opportunity! 7. The Philistines gave over flocks, herds, and lands in payment for food. J. Vs 1: Isaac wasn t just wealthy; he was VERY wealthy! K. Vs 14: The Philistines were jealous of Isaac s great riches. XIV. Corinthians 9:10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness. XV. John 1:4 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. A. The seed had to die before the harvest could be released. B. Unless a seed hits the earth, nothing will happen. 6
XVI. Luke 6:8 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. A. Shall is the strongest word in the English language. B. This is covenant! 7
