Recreation and Culture Commission Special Meeting - January 19. 2007 Moved by Councillor Smith, seconded by Councillor Beck, that the minutes of the Parks, Recreation and Culture Commission Special meeting held January 19, 2007, and its recommendations, be approved except Nos. 1 and 7. R99-2007 CARRIED. Moved by Councillor Smith, seconded by Councillor Gibson, that recommendation No. 1 from the Parks, Recreation and Culture Commission Special meeting held January 19, 2007, be received. Moved by Councillor Ross, seconded by Councillor Harris, that a sign be installed in 2007 to announce the future home of "Inspiration Park", which honours and commemorates community involvement and support to defeat the Sumas Energy 2 project. R101-2007 CARRIED. Moved by Councillor Ross, seconded by Councillor Harris, that Council re-affirm its commitment to develop "Inspiration Park" by including funds in the 2008 budget.
