A winner of the award is chosen on that basis by a committee of the Council s Past Grand Knights in late May. The winner does not need to be a child of a Knight. Over the 13 years of existence of the scholarship (a total of 17 awards given out), and with the support of the OLM parish family at the Annual Pasta Dinner, the award has been increased to $1,000. Applications are available online at www.olmwarren.org, at the Parish Office, and on the bulletin board across from classroom #1, with a closing date at the end of May. The winner will receive the award at a June Council meeting.
