We ask you to guide people in all the adult times of life and lead them in the way you would have them go. We also pray today for the senior citizens in nursing homes, in assisted living residences, and those living on their own. Let them know that you are always with them. We especially pray for all your sheep who are at the end stage of life. Take them in your arms and peacefully lead them to your side. Lord in your mercy..hear our prayer.

A note from M.O.M. Team For the past five years members of Word of God Lutheran Church have assembled Lutheran World Relief baby kits during the Lenten season. This year Lutheran World Relief is making a special plea for school supply kits. Due to this high need, the congregation will assemble 240 school kits at the annex immediately following the February 14th service. Each kit will consist of 4 spiral notebooks, ruler, pencil sharpener, scissors, pencils, pens, crayons, eraser and drawstring backpack. Items for each kit will be purchased using Mission Outreach Ministry funds. Education is certainly important for every community, especially where poverty or disaster has limited the options for those to reach their potential. The school kits we assemble will help children and in some cases adults, continue learning despite the hardships they face. This opportunity for learning leads to a better life for them, their families and their communities. Many hands are needed to make the school kit assembly a success. Please join the Mission Outreach Ministry team to assemble kits and offer these gifts, symbols of God s sacrificial grace and love this Lent. 13
