This year all classes in Resurrection will be using the Seesaw App. We re very excited as it is a great tool to improve communication between school and home. Some classes have been using the app already. Seesaw empowers students to capture their learning through photos, videos and documents from their Google Drive, and share this with parents and guardians. Please sign up for the app as outlined in the note from your child s classroom teacher going home tomorrow. Please note you will only be able to view your own child s journal. Families with more than one child need only add the Seesaw app once. We will also use Seesaw as a tool to communicate/send reminders about upcoming event details. We re looking forward to showing you the great work your children will do this year. Tony Wilson ICT Leader
MOBILE DENTIST W & L Mobile healthcare services will be visiting our school from Mon 23 rd April to Fri 27 th April. Eligible students will be able to receive free treatments as required. Dear Parents, Middle and Senior School Athletics Carnival On Monday 26th March, as part of our Physical Education Program, all students from Years 3 to 6 will be participating in our Middle and Senior School Athletics Carnival. Students are required to start the school day as normal and then will travel by bus to the Keilor Park Athletics Track, leaving school at 9:20am. We will be returning to school again by bus, arriving at 5pm. It is a long day so please make sure that your child/ren have enough food to last them. The snacks during the day should be healthy snacks only as unhealthy food does not settle well with so much physical exercise. There is a water tap available for the students to refill their bottles during the day. Research has proven that a parent s involvement in their child s schooling through volunteering has a positive effect on the child s progress. We would love to have as many parents as possible come and watch their children participate in the events on the day. We would also love as many parent helpers on the day as we can for the running of the carnival. You don t have to be trained in athletics coaching to come and help. If you are able to help, can you please fill in the form below and return it as soon as possible. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Attention: Mrs Shields My Name, as it appears on my Working with Children Check Card, is.
