Girton College Chapel Lent Term 2019 To Epiphany and Beyond! A late Easter means that this Lent Term will be spent more in the season of Epiphany than in Lent itself, which does not begin until Week 8. So the sermons this term will reflect on the epiphanies of this season: the glimpses and revelations of God we see in Christ, and what they might teach us of life lived in their light.

CHARITY FOR LENT TERM - TRUSSELL TRUST The Trussell Trust runs a network of over 420 foodbanks, which work out of more than 1,200 centres across the UK and provide emergency food to people referred for support. In the last year their network gave 1,332,952 three day emergency food supplies to people in crisis. The Trussell Trust recognises that stopping hunger is about more than food, which is why they are working with foodbanks to provide a range of new services like money advice and fuel banks, helping people to break the cycle of poverty.
