Holy Christmas Mysteries by Corinne Heline The Mystery of the Christos p. 54 The Angels, too, must love this season with a special love, for then they draw closest to earth and sing their most blissful songs. Day and night, multitudes of them hover over the earth pouring their blessing, which again has its physical counterpart in the incense which perfumes many places of worship at this holy time. The early Christian initiates contacted at will the observances of the higher planes, and many of the ceremonials they established in the church reflect the initiatory rituals of the inner planes. Master musicians have caught strains of angelic music and brought them down to earth in the inspired Christmas carols which will endure as long as the earth stands. Joy to the world, the Lord is come is an angelic song, giving utterance to a cosmic mystery which belongs to Angels as well as men. Amid the angelic bands that sing above the earth at Christmas time is one whose auric light extends into vast spaces, The Queen of Angels and Men, who adds Her song to that of the celestials as She pours out her blessing, particularly upon mothers and their babes; for She realizes more deeply than any other the profound sacrifice at this holy time. Her musical keynote sounds forth in the Ave Maria, all who hear it are touched, consciously or unconsciously, by Her benediction. 3

Shamballa has four gates and three doors. The first gate is loneliness, the second one, detachment, the third one, isolated unity, the fourth one, purification. These are the four ways which stretch before the disciple of the Lord of the World. They must all be trodden before the Inner Being is released, and the liberated Sons of God can enter, at will, the four gates. Loneliness, Gate the First, is the withdrawal of the human soul from physical, emotional and mental interests. It is an intense inner focus where nothing else exists for you except the vision of Divine Home, the summit of human striving. Legend of Shamballa Reading (from pp. 57-61) (please be seated) Step by step you climb the path of silence... The path on which you only must depend on what you are... Detachment, Gate the Second, is when no longer anybody, anything delays your feet on the Path. One by one you leave behind the toys of your childhood, sometimes even with the pearl of a tear, but you continue to climb in greater, greater, greater joy! This is the path of freedom. When you sense and realize that you can do without the chains of many forms... you stand in the sphere of your light, love and power, 5
without creating any response from the objects, from the levels, from the ties of the past. In a detached state of soul you still love people, but you do not let the inertia, the glamors and illusions of their personality touch the Lotus of your being. This leads you closer to Gate the Third, Isolated Unity. You are one, but isolated, as leaves of the lotus on the water of the lake. You are one with the Essence, but have nothing to do with the sheaths of human beings. You hear, you know but you are silent. No thrill from the world below can evoke any response from you. You live on the plane of the liberated sons of Shamballa, and assimilate and radiate bliss, joy, light and compassion in all directions to all beings. You are in the world, and yet not of the world. Isolated unity brings you to Gate the Fourth, Purity. Blessed are those who are pure in heart, for they shall see God. On this path, not only our vehicles of manifestation, but also all our motives are purified, and our heart is a temple of the Most High. Only through such a purity can the warrior of light penetrate into the gates of Shamballa. Four gates, the foundation the Shamballa upon which the Holy Pyramid of Shamballa towers into the ethers shining as a mighty Diamond with three ruby doors. 6

Meditation on the 4 Gates 1. Close your eyes and relax. 2. Meditate on the value of the gate of Loneliness. 3. Meditate on the value of the gate Detachment. 4. Meditate on the value of the gate Isolated Unity. 5. Meditate on the value of the gate Purity. 6. Imagine yourself walking through each of these gates, Loneliness, Detachment, Isolated Unity, Purity. 7. Imagine yourself free, pure, unified with your highest Self. 8. Breathe deeply, stay in a space of peace. 9. Say 3 OMs. Teachings of Christ Vol. 1 Reading (from pp. 195) It is so wonderful to gather in the name of light, in the name of Christ. The most supreme striving of a human being is to achieve the beauty, the goodness, and the light of that Great One. It is your aspiration, it is your prayers, it is your striving toward that great beauty that will transform your life. Unless we have that vision in front of our eyes, and daily strive toward that vision, we cannot transcend ourselves. Only by transcending ourselves can we create a new civilization, a new culture. Only by making ourselves a little closer to that Great One can we change our individual, family, social, and international life. I know that Christmas will bring greater light, greater love, and greater dynamism in our life. The proof is that you are here. The proof is that you are thinking about these things. The proof is that billions and billions of people now in the world, at least for one moment, two moments, three moments, are reorienting and polarizing themselves to Christ. 8
