We are collecting one-gallon plastic milk containers with their caps to make an igloo for VBS. Please be sure they are cleaned and rinsed out!! We need over 400 containers to make an igloo! Steve s ordination to the priesthood at Mass on May 17 at 11:00 a.m. On Sunday, June 14, there will be a concert in honor of Fr. Steve will be at 3:00 p.m. with a reception following. MASS FOR HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS On Saturday, June 20 at the 4:30 mass we would like to honor the high school seniors from our parish who are graduating from high school. The graduates will receive a special blessing as they prepare to begin a new chapter in their lives. If you have a teen or grandchild who will be graduating this June, please contact Maureen Piehler at 429-5650 or mpiehler@dor.org so we can include them in this special liturgy. HOSPITAL CALLS When you are hospitalized, it is the great desire of our priest and pastoral staff to visit with you when you are in any of our local hospitals. Be aware that due to privacy laws, we cannot access information about your hospitalization unless you indicate St. Theodore s as your faith community on your admissions forms. Better yet, have a family member call the parish office at 429-6811 with the dates of your hospitalization, which hospital you are at and a room number. CONCERT IN HONOR OF FATHER STEVE Our pastor, Father Steve, will be celebrating his 40 th anniversary as a priest this year. Plans are being made to have a concert for him on Sunday, June 14 at 3:00 p.m., followed by a reception in our parish hall. The different musical groups in our parish will be participating, and I was hoping to get a children s choir together for this event. This would be open to students in grades 3 through 8. The music will be recorded on CDs, so that each student can practice on his/her own time; and then we would come together for a couple of rehearsals (day & time TBD). If your child(ren) would like to sing for this fun celebration, please fill out the form below and return it in the Sunday collection or the parish office by May 17.
