Fun and Frolic in First Grade Story Reading Competition Reading aloud with proper voice modulation is an art by itself. The tiny tots of Grade 1 had a story reading competition which truly brought out their ability to read fluently! Christmas Party Christmas is the festival of joy and happiness. With the jingle of the Christmas bells and melodious Christmas carols, the children of Grade 1 dressed in vibrant colours enjoyed celebrating Christmas in school.

Grade Three Celebrating the spirit of Christmas! As part of the Share and Care drive the students donated newspapers and thereby collected funds to help the underprivileged. JINGLE BELLS JINGLE BELLS..the children made Christmas bells to usher in the Christmas celebrations! Grade 4 ushers in Christmas & New Year The students of Primary celebrated Christmas with a lot of fun and enthusiasm. There was joy and happiness on every face. They enjoyed making a Snowman as craft work. They sang and danced to Christmas Carols. The school wore a festive look with bells, streamers and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. The children were told about the birth of Jesus Christ. It was a spectacular day for all.
Fun-Loving Fifth Graders Come December and with it comes the joys of Christmas. To add to the festive spirit,the students enthusiastically decorated their classrooms for Christmas with various artefacts. The students of Grade 5 made well decorated Christmas trees. As a part of Christmas celebration,the students of grade 5 performed a skit depicting the Nativity Scene. As a part of the science activity children prepared nutritious and healthy salads that emphasized the importance of different nutrients in our daily lives.
Festivities in SMS Marredpally Christmas Artefacts Christmas artefacts were made by all the students of grades 1 to grade V. The skill and proficiency of each student was clearly evident through their creativity and this activity helped to bring out the best in them. Deck and Depict Deck and depict competition was conducted for the students of grades I and II. The students wore costumes and portrayed the character with great enthusiasm. It was a splendid occasion where the students confidence level increased through their talents and their performances were a joy to behold!
Rangoli Competition Rangoli competition was conducted for the students of grades III, IV and V. The participants showcased their artistic flair in an elegant manner. The age old traditional values were kept alive through this wonderful activity and helped to preserve the customs of our motherland. Christmas Celebrations Christmas Celebration was held in a grand manner as members of the School Management and our dear parents graced the occasion with their presence. The choir joyfully maintained the ambience with their melodious carol singing. A skit with a Christmas message was put up. Parents too participated in the celebration as they came up with their own creative costumes! The celebration conveyed the real meaning of Christmas.
GRADE 6 - Children s day out! The important objective of planning trips is to provide an opportunity to teachers as well as students to bond with each other, giving both the parties a break from their hectic schedules. Glimpse of the students enjoying class picnic Christmas is a festival which brings cheer and joy through sharing and caring. Students came dressed in their best attire for the occasion and to celebrate the festival.
Christmas is the spirit of giving without a thought of getting. Soaking in the spirit of Christmas Michaelites celebrated the festival SUPER SEVEN The children were taken to Jain Heritage School for EDUFEST. They were exposed to projects on various subjects and learnt through both working and non working models. They got hands on experience on the working of an ATM machine, cleansing of dirt and garbage from water bodies. Short films, role plays and enactments were projected to emphasize the importance of English as a means of communication. The most awaited day of the year was the school picnic to Willow Spring resort. The experience of being surrounded by lush greenery and beauty of nature was enjoyed by one and all. Indeed it was a great day for all the students and teachers as they experienced friendly camaraderie.
GRADE 8 Enjoy The Festivities! The students of grade 8 were dressed up in their best attire for the Christmas party. the boys looked smart and the girls elegant. Everyone enjoyed the program thoroughly, which was showcased by both the Primary and higher section students. The children had an amazing time during their picnic; they let their hair down and rocked the dance floor. They also enjoyed the time spent in the pool and playing exciting games. The students of grade 8 also Participated in classroom activities and shared their Ideas and creativity. The Grade 8 students contributed generously for the Christmas Share and care program. Class 8B alone contributed a whopping 200 KGS of newspapers. The money got from selling the papers will be used for charity.
We had periodic test 2 followed by the Christmas party in which every student was waiting to show off their best attire and have lots of fun before school closed for the Christmas holidays.
HO! H0! H0! Folks! Though just a part of the Christmas programme, the medley put up by the tenth graders was impressive and Christmassy in every sense of the word. The tweaked Christmas carols, the colours of Christmas in the outfits they donned, the perfect synchronization, the graceful steps and their pleasing disposition enthralled the audience to the hilt. Encore! would sure have been the word on everyone s lips. Just a few days of practice with putting their heart and soul in it is all that was required to make it a WOW.
CHRISTMAS 2018- The Michaelite Way!
The elections for the Student Council 2019-20 were conducted in a fair and democratic manner. The candidates canvassed for themselves and prepared manifestos to convince the audience. The audience cast their votes and the deserving candidates emerged as winners.
Dr. Karthik Vishnu Vardhan G passed out from St Michael s in 2006. While pursuing his MBBS from Bhaskar Medical College he clinched three gold medals from the college and two gold medals from the head of the department for securing the highest marks. After completing his MBBS in 2015, he worked as a Medical Officer for the RSBK Programme (Rashtriya Baal Swasthya Karyakram) under the National Health Mission, Ministry of health and family welfare, Govt of India. This programme deals with identifying and treating various ailments in children aged 0-18 years. In a span of three years, two hundred schools and anganwadis have been catered to and over 50,000 children were checked for various health ailments and necessary treatment was provided by him and his team. He was awarded the Best Medical Officer Award by the Hyderabad collector for services rendered towards this programme. At present he is pursuing his Masters in Medicine (Family Medicine) at Christian College, Vellore. Kudos! Dr. Kathik. May you excel in your profession and may you inspire the younger generation!
