Missions Committee Report May 13 July 14 / 2013. 1. Personal Information. Hno. Juan Pablo Pérez. Hello dear brothers in Christ Jesus. May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ continue to bless each of you and your families. By the grace of the Lord we are in good health, after the children were sick last week because my son Isaac was sick with flu and fever, Keyling had stomach problems and with Rebeca is a serious health problem so she has problems with the colon and now she is taking the treatment prescribed by her doctor that lasts three months and have to take it every day until she complete the treatment. Therefore we ask you beloved to pray for the health of Rebecca and because everything is fine when she finished taking all the remedies, also pray for the whole family. As always we want to thank you for all you do for us, we are grateful to all of you and hope that God will bless you more. Hno. José Guido. Hello beloved brothers God our Great God and Father bless you always. Beloved, is really a pleasure for me your truly to write again to inform you about the work we are doing in the congregation here in Masaya.. We felt it was a long time unable to get to the middle of your conversation to tell you about our Mission. Definitely we started to miss you since a week is as little to fraternize with our sponsors and although the work is a little tired in that week, we still spend beautiful experiences with your presence only can acquire. With all my heart, thank you for visiting us last month. How I wish that this year pass quickly to have you here soon and so we can see our faces, greet, experiencing great times and also receive gifts. Hahaha. My dear friends, for my part I am fine, thanks God. Pretty healthy and fighting every day to serve our Creator in the best way possible. My family is pretty good, all trying to serve our Creator each passing day. My brothers each focused on their studies. Juan preparing to study medicine or possibly related to this, my brother Francisco expected to travel on August 12 to USA and study at Harding University near you. Right now I'm in exams and although they are something complicated I hope to get pretty good notes and go on forward in my goal of completing my first secular race. Dear brothers thanks for everything, I want you to know we are doing well and always giving our best effort of everyone in the congregation here in Sacuanjoche as we are to the door to leave this place and start a New Mission in Masatepe if God so allows.. Greetings and many blessings... Jose Guido!! Hno. Gabriel Rivera. Peace and grace to all. Brethren, it is our sincere hope that you prosper in all that you undertake, you are in good health and enjoy the peace that surpasses all understanding that is in Christ Jesus. God bless you. We wish to express our thanks for mentioning us in your prayers, thanks for all the presents you sent along with the mission trip, and also thank you for loving and caring about the work here in Nicaragua. Thank you very much, and God is rewarding you. My family and I are deeply motivated by the work we are doing together for God. It is our understanding that many local brothers have spoken well of the work. July 19 is a date where the Nicaraguan population celebrates the 34th anniversary of the liberation of the oppressor government dictatorship, is a day where thousands of Nicaraguans from around the country travel for hours to concentrate on the square of freedom, Managua, many veterans remember that day like it

was yesterday and the heroic resistance moves that had many of his colleagues who lost their lives for this cause. For my part I celebrate ten years of the release of my sins, It was a July 19 when I decided to give my life to Christ, for me is a source of joy and gladness, because I was saved by grace, during these ten years, God has filled me with many blessings, I got the chance to meet my wife and to start a family, gave me the opportunity to be part of this wonderful mission team. If not for the grace of God, where would I be today? I lost my sinful life to earn a better, full of hope and blessings in Christ Jesus. Today I celebrate 10 happy years surrounded by hope. 2. Youth ministry class. In this ministry is responsible Brother Gerson Bravo, three weeks before he met with Brother José Guido and I, to ask help to lead the ministry with him and now all three are at the head of the ministry, we have come together to establish a plan of edification, and teamwork activities. Newly converted: 1. Allan Mendoza. Twice. Franklin Canales y Karen Carranza. This is a couple who have been visiting us for almost more than a month, Brother Miguel Canales and I, we go out every Wednesday at 8:00. Pm after worship in homes to go to preach to the young couple. Franklin is in the blood son of Brother Miguel Canales. We have studied the following topics: the need to approach God, temptations, sin and its consequences, the gospel and God's plan. We hope soon to talk about how to obey the gospel. They in turn have responded positively, are visiting the church every Sunday. For

our part, we are pleased to have a positive response. Please pray for this marriage, so that soon they obey the gospel and be baptized for the forgiveness of their sins. B. Evangelistic area, work done by Juan Pablo Pérez. Blessings to you all servants of the highest God, the peace of the Lord be with you. It is a pleasure for me to inform you loved about the work we are doing for the Lord, here Masaya. The activity that we had at work this month is as follows: we have made visitations to the homes of the brothers, always encouraging them with the word of the Lord, to remain in the grace of God. In this month we had to visit and go to the homes of the brothers because lately some of them have been ill or someone of their family, either their parents, their children etc. Also in some cases I have gone to the people I have been evangelizing to pray for them for their disease because the problems that are overwhelming to them are all diseases and are very heavily. As we are in the winter season this makes viral diseases affect us much more and that is why both children and adults are likely to get sick. In this month the visitations for bible studies I have done with the brother Miguel Canales some visits are to people he personally invited to have a Bible studio in their homes, and he agrees on the day and time in which people can and then he tells me go to such place at such hour, and we agree according to his time and go to carry out the study. Brother Miguel really stands out a lot in that respect I think if has more time on his work and not take away much of his time he would be a good evangelist for the spirit to evangelize and tell people about Christ is his strong and is something that pleases him much to do. As I said before some of the people we are studying, have or have had some health problems, especially I would like you to take in your prayers two friends one is a man who is older and is having various health complications his name is Julio and Johanna Cano who was recently been operated of a tumor and is recovering, pray for their health but also to obey the gospel of the Lord and be saved. On the other hand I'm always near to the Canales Ramirez s family, occasionally we went out or eat together and as always at all times the brother Miguel has the desire to learn more of the Bible, I'm always making clear things of doctrinal sense or some books of the Bible or tools to use in preaching as homiletics, hermeneutics among other things. From friends who visit the church and those who repeatedly encourage you to be born again and belong to the family of God and after a series of courses taught on Sunday July 7 young was baptized and now Allan Madriz Rivera is our brother by the grace of God. In addition there were about three brothers restored as are our brothers: Oniel Velasquez, Karen Mendoza, Antonio Cano, and Hector Castro. Services performed in the Church have preached in the prayer meeting, on Sunday is directed edges. On Friday 04 and11 July I gave to the Church in doctrinal class an overview of the book of the prophet Daniel. On Sunday July 14 I preached in worship. Well generally this has been what I have to give out about what we've done here in Sacuanjoche. C. Visiting and Restoration area, Report from José Guido. My brothers, thanks be to our God for giving us this tremendous opportunity today to discuss in some detail the work we do here in Masaya, Nicaragua. Loved Brothers as you know, the last month we do not send the report since we had the presence of you visiting, Edmond Brigade in Nicaragua. But I will not ignore brothers throughout the month of June, from the end of May we were making preparations for all projects of houses and paintings and also for VBS. They were pretty tired these few days but it's great to work for the Lord and that they have many families who are beneficiaries of projects and many children also benefited by VBS program where they have time to study the scriptures and fellowship with many children Church and around the Local Church Meeting.

As I mentioned before sharing a week of work with our brothers here of Edmond in Nicaragua is great because you only come once a year. Although would like to take over our brothers but we only have time for projects and some activities. But on behalf of all here, both brothers as the Church specifically benefit total and Nicaragua Team, thank you for your presence, your choice, your generosity, your time to share with us, their economic efforts to come and invest in projects that benefit several brothers, thanks for all... After you left back home, we for our part we continued with our mission here at the church in Masaya. Personally after you left I did not work hard at work since I had to fix some things in the university and I had missed several days of classes and exams in order to place me back into the thread of my studies while in the Mission, in the Visitation Ministry and Teaching of the Word of God. So now I continue in ministry regularly doing Restoration and Visitation to the Church. As part of our twinning with the Congregation of Masatepe, the past weekend I attended a camp with youth of the Church, we went to a farm where we spent the night making many dynamic and reflections, it was a fun time for fellowship and have fun between siblings. Everything was under the supervision of three adult siblings including me. Sunday Morning did a devotional in which partake of the Lord's Supper and likewise of the Offerings. So we take the time to honor the Lord between Christians and some friends who joined us, I think they learned a lot of activity, we hope that soon they want to be part of the family of faith. I would like to quickly mention some of the visits I made in this month my brothers I always encourage them to go ahead and also visited some to restore them: a. I visited brother David Garcia, this young man is one of the results of the previous campaign. For some time he had left to assemble with the Church.. He is a teenager and somehow we understand that it is in a stage of rebellion and where only attracts him to walk with his friends and play different games. The day I went to visit him, his grandmother was giving me complaints about him because he says he has been very rebellious lately and it has not been going well in his studies. Having listened to her grandmother I started to talk about David's behavior, I took some time to talk to him and encourage him to behave better because it is necessary to honor our parents, and he must respect, obey and they will benefit him and also God will bless him a lot him to remain faithful in the Church and do not forget his commitment to the Lord to be faithful every day of his life, because that was the covenant he made with God at the time he gave his life to Christ through baptism. Certainly our young people are surrounded by many temptations that the world presents to them and sometimes we are victims of such attractions, but our fight is to always put our eyes on Christ and nothing or no one remove our focus from the Lord that is where it must be our eyes.. Finally this boy has followed in the Church, and importantly is the support he has from his family as he is the only Christian in the family but they do not stop him from attending the Church, contrary they motivate him to attend and not fail, that is a wonderful thing and there are many who do not have that joy and encounter more obstacles from their families. b. I also visited the brother Francisco Rivas, he is the father of our brother Walter Rivas. The brother was more than a week in the hospital with serious health problems. Now he is at home and I visited him there to see his health. Some time ago the brother Francisco was faithful in the Church but then stopped coming, apparently he did it because he had been drinking liquor, in other words the brother was the sin of drunkenness and the doctor said that's the reason for his deteriorating health. It was definitely very delicate state of health but thank God who has given opportunity to leave the hospital and although not yet fully in good health but is now out of danger and in recovery. We hope that as he goes recovering his health also starts to reestablishing his relationship with God and the Church.. Do not stop praying to God for him for God gives him life and health and so our brother again active in the Church and in all programs and activities of the Church.. Our brother Francisco was separated from the mother of our brother Walter many years ago so that our brother lives with her mother who is an old woman very exemplary and faithful to the Lord in the

Church. It is amazing how our sister Ines Rivas our brother Francisco's mother despite his advanced age has no bar to stop fellowship with the Church. They usually get together at the church, mom and son attend to worship, we hope that our brother never ceases to accompany our sister Ines and that together they can serve and worship our God without a hitch. I ask your prayers for the health of our brother Francisco and also for the health of our sister Ines. c. On one occasion I visited our Sister Darling Prado, she was not visiting us regularly as she was pregnant and just was trying to come out of the birthing process... She had been a little difficult for her by certain problems that was encountering in the process of pregnancy. But thanks to the wonderful work of our God she was able to get ahead of the situation and is now happy mother of a precious baby to which a few days ago brought the baby to the Church and introduced him to the brotherhood and together we pray for God to bless this baby and in the future become a servant of God. We pray that our sister may have everything that her baby needs and together with her husband to raise their son. Certainly if it is in our hands we will do our best to support her. Our sister is a pretty shy woman but sincere in her love for the Lord and we are pleased that despite the distance from where she lives and very poor conditions in which they live but still shows loyalty and fighting.. God bless our sister and ask for your prayers for her. After the departure of the Edmond team the Church has been quite lively. You cannot imagine how the Church is grateful for having been here and for the blessings that you shared with the Church and the projects undertaken for family of the Church that has been a blessing to many. Really with all the time that Edmond has supported the Church in Masaya, there are more than ten families that have been blessed by projects of all kinds. The Church has no more than a pleasing heart to God and the Church of Edmond for sharing many blessings to the Church here. In the Church all programs are marching pretty well. Young people have made activities for fellowship with others and grow spiritually. The ladies have their program running fine, once a month they make visitation and restoration to sick brothers. Thank God that all things are going pretty well. The Church is now preparing for our departure from this place to our new mission. For our part we prepare for a transition process in which we are training leaders and the Church. Two weeks ago we had a baptism for the honor and glory of our God. And still continue to offer several evangelistic Bible studies in order to win more souls for Christ. 3. General Attendance and offering of the Church in Sacuanjoche Masaya. 4. Next Mission, Masatepe. Everything is ready for the next mission. If it is the will of God we will move up to Masatepe at the end of this year to begin the ministry work in that congregation. It is wonderful how our brothers are waiting for us so we can support them in all matters relating to the ministry in the Church. There are some brothers that sometimes they have commented about their desire to have us for that place. Some ask: Why not come immediately? They really want to have us with them to do the Lord's work there. Now we are in a transition process here in Sacuanjoche, where we prepare the whole Church to continue the fulfillment of the Great Commission by themselves. We train leaders here that they take responsibility even before we leave here. There in Masatepe they are prepared to receive us, of course sometimes we have been invited to some activities so we support them.. We will be sad to leave this congregation but also we believe it is time to continue on their own effort and commitment. In fact at the time it is, either this year or later always be difficult both for the Church and for us to part of this Church. 5. SECOND TEAM In this area we only hope to get news of the gentlemen that you led to consider before the Missions Committee and before the elders of the Church. Some of them ask us if we have heard about them or how is progressing the plan for the II Mission Team. For we do not give them any answers we do not know about what progress is on them. But we encourage them to continue in prayer and expect God to do the work whether they are considered or not. And as they keep serving as far as possible and looking how to get ahead.. We believe that everyone is excited to be part of this blessing to serve Christ full time and helping to develop a congregation better. COMMENTS OF A SMALL HISTORY Peace and grace to all, God bless. Brethren, it is our pleasure to make you part of our history of interest. This time we want to share a little about our Youth Ministry of the congregation here in Sacuanjoche. Since the beginning of the year until the date the ministry has experienced ups and downs. The Ministry is composed of 13 actives young but we have a beautiful list of 25 young, the Leader has been our brother Gerson Bravo. A month ago brother Gerson Bravo approached to the brethren Gabriel Rivera and Jose Guido to ask help in this ministry, since then the three have come together to organize and create strategies that can achieve the following objectives: 1. Solidify the existing youth group and involving all the young to the program. 2. Reaching the 70% of young people are not supporting the program. 3. Promote interpersonal relationships. 4. Encourage spiritual zeal. 5. Working with an edification plan that meets the needs of youth. 6. Promote harmony, fellowship and communion with other sisters Churches. Many young people have been motivated to support the activities and commit to the ministry; also we have reached some young people who were not supporting. We are working on a plan that can motivate and solidify the ministry, we have set a date on which you will run a camp that lasted three days, we devotionals, competitions, quizzes, have fun in a healthy environment and healthy, try to get the heart of every young person through the message of the word. This camp will be held on the Ometepe Island, we have agreed with the preacher over there and he will also support the youth of the congregation. Please pray for this ministry to be successful and in all things God be glorified.
